Glamorgan spinner Dean Cosker has signed a contract extension to stay at the club until the end of next summer.
The long-serving left-armer made his first-class debut for the county in 1996 and has taken nearly 600 wickets for them in four-day cricket - including 51 at an average of 22 during his benefit year in 2010.
He helped them win the County Championship in 1997 and the Division Two title in 2001, as well as National League one-day successes in 2002 and 2004 as he formed a deadly spin partnership with Robert Croft, now on the coaching staff at the club.
Cosker said: "It is really humbling to sign an extension to my contract with Glamorgan until 2016 and spend a further two seasons at the club that I really enjoy playing for.
"We've got some talented young spinners coming through the system so there is competition for places. I hope my role along with Robert Croft will be to try and nurture the next generation of spin bowlers at the club and soon replicate the partnership I enjoyed with Robert in the early 2000s."
Teenager Kieran Bull took 4-62 against Kent on his LV= County Championship debut last season while the previous year, Andrew Salter removed Leicestershire's Shiv Thakor with his first ball in the competition en route to match figures of 5-100.
Glamorgan chief executive Hugh Morris said: "Dean is one of our most experienced players and continues to perform at a high level, and we are delighted to retain his services.
"With his knowledge of the game he plays an important role in the Glamorgan team and will act as a role model for a group of young talented Welsh spin bowlers at the club."
