Kent regained their place at the top of the women’s county game by clinching the Royal London Women's One-Day Cup Division One title with a seven-wicket win over Surrey.
In an encounter between the top two teams in the league, Kent skittled out their opponents for 110 before knocking off the runs in under 20 overs to make sure of the championship.
Erin Bermingham took 4-16 while there were two wickets each for Laura Marsh and Charlotte Pape as Surrey, chasing their first championship, lost their last eight wickets for just 55 runs.
Kent were never in danger of failing to reach the total, with skipper Charlotte Edwards making 56 and fellow England internationals Tammy Beaumont and Lydia Greenway adding 29 and 16 respectively.
Grace Gibbs and Bermingham then pushed Kent over the line, seeing them retain the title from Sussex and win a sixth championship in nine years.
