Durham welcome back Ben Stokes as they travel to the Spitfire Ground to face Kent in the latest round of Royal London One-Day Cup action.
Mark Stoneman’s men fell to an opening defeat away at Somerset, despite Paul Collingwood hitting 113 in their total of 311.
The inability to remove James Hildreth and Lewis Gregory saw Durham beaten, and they will hope the addition of Stokes – released from England duty having not been selected for the third Test - to the bowling attack can help get their campaign off and running.
They face a Kent side appearing in their first game of the competition, and they have added Brendan Nash and Calum Haggett in place of Adam Ball and Charlie Hartley from the squad used for their final two NatWest T20 Blast games.
Somerset look to follow up their impressive victory when they tackle Notts Outlaws at TrentBridge.
The Outlaws – winners of the 40-over competition last season that has been replaced by the cup – began their campaign with a 29-run win over Sussex Sharks, with Alex Hales blasting a century.
And director of cricket Mick Newell will select from the same squad once more for Somerset’s visit.
In the other game in Group B, Warwickshire – winners in a thriller against Middlesex Panthers in their opener – host Sussex.

Josh Poysden will look to keep his place for the Bears, having taken two wickets on his first List A appearance, while 17-year-old Aaron Thomason was also a debutant.
The Sharks remain without Chris Jordan, who is on international duty, and the injured Jimmy Anyon, Rory Hamilton-Brown, Matt Prior and Michael Yardy.
In Group A, Northants Steelbacks host Worcestershire at CampbellPark in Milton Keynes.
Northants have named the same 13-man squad that beat Gloucestershire by four wickets – their fifth success in all competitions this season.
Worcestershire have won 15 of their games across the game’s other two formats this season, but lost their maiden 50-over game by eight wickets against Essex.
Charlie Morris comes back into the frame, with Jack Shantry being rested having appeared in all other 25 games played by the county this season.
Yorkshire Vikings won the Roses game on Saturday and their unchanged squad will look to make it two from two as Gloucestershire visit Headingley.
The visitors are expecting to be without Alex Gidman, who suffered back spasms in their opening game against Northants.
