West Indies batsman Chris Gayle will return from injury, as expected, to face England during three Twenty20 internationals in Barbados.
The Windies' destructive opener had to miss the one-day international series defeat against the same opponents in Antigua because of soreness in his hip.
But the indications were always strong that he would be back in time for the three short-format matches at the Kensington Oval, the first on Sunday, before both countries head for the World Twenty20 in Bangladesh.
The West Indies Cricket Board today confirmed its 15-man squad to face England, unsurprisingly identical to the one selected by the reigning champions for the World T20.
West Indies squad: Darren Sammy (captain), Samuel Badree, Dwayne Bravo, Johnson Charles, Sheldon Cottrell, Andre Fletcher, Chris Gayle, Sunil Narine, Denesh Ramdin, Ravi Rampaul, Andre Russell, Marlon Samuels, Krishmar Santokie, Lendl Simmons, Dwayne Smith.
