Jos Buttler has gone top of the England ODI MVP on the back of his 99 and two catches in the third one-day international with West Indies.
The wicketkeeper-batsman’s 84-ball innings was his highest international score and has moved him above previous leader Eoin Morgan, who played in just the last of the three ODIs versus the Windies due to injury and drops to third.
Joe Root’s first ODI hundred and one wicket yesterday have put him second in the format rankings. He has risen to third in the overall winter standings, which Stuart Broad still leads.
Broad has extended his advantage at the summit thanks to two scalps and his role as skipper. He is now comfortably ahead of second-placed Ben Stokes.
