Nottinghamshire have recalled paceman Andy Carter from his loan spell at Glamorgan.
The 26-year-old, in search of first-team cricket, arrived at the SWALEC Stadium at the start of the season and took 12 wickets in three LV= County Championship Division Two matches.
Carter’s final appearance for Glamorgan was due to be the fixture with Kent, starting on Sunday, but Nottinghamshire have ended his stay prematurely.
He will now go straight into Notts’ squad for the top-flight clash with Durham at the Emirates Durham ICG.

Carter said: “I enjoyed my time at Glamorgan and although we drew all three of the matches that I played in, I strongly feel that a win is just around the corner.
“I wanted to play first-team cricket and they gave that opportunity at a time when all of the Nottinghamshire bowlers were fit.
“I’ve been focussed on doing well for Glamorgan but I know Notts have been watching the matches and they wanted me to find form and fitness. It worked out well for all three parties."
