West Indies made steady progress in the 40 minutes of play possible between rain delays on the second morning in Grenada.
Resuming on 188 for five with Marlon Samuels on 94, Denesh Ramdin dominated the scoring as the hosts moved on to 210 for five when the players were forced off.
At that point Samuels had 97 to his name and Ramdin 24, the duo having added 55 on a still placid pitch.

Morning session
4.56pm –Lunch will be taken shortly with play set to resume at 5.40pm. To tide you over, above are some of James Anderson’s best England wickets.
4.40pm – Unfortunately it’s still raining hard in Grenada. To pass the time, above is our day-one chat with Jordan.
Unfortunately another shower and the players leave the field. Hopefully delay is short. 210-5. #WIvEngpic.twitter.com/mUH2h4wBux

4.23pm –RAIN STOPS PLAY! WI 210/5; Samuels 97, Ramdin 24 – Ramdin beautifully straight-drives Stokes for four, immediately after which the players come off for heavy rain. The Windies have added 22 runs in the 8.5 overs possible today.
Looks like more rain is on the way in #WIvEng. Marlon Samuels is on 97. Does he try to get to a ton before rain arrives? We shall see.

4.15pm – Stokes and Jordan continue to keep it tight, the former with a second maiden of the day to Samuels who is on 96. Ramdin gets a single to mid-on off Jordan, moving West Indies to 200.
Samuels has scored two runs so far. He'll want to get that hundred off Stokes, you'd think

3.58pm – Stokes bowls a maiden to Samuels, who is still on 95. No obvious verbals between the two yet, unlike yesterday. Ramdin then sweetly cover-drives Jordan for the day’s first four and cuts Stokes for another. Five overs until the new ball is due.
3.44pm – REVIEW! – Play begins and straight away there’s a review from England. With the new ball due in 10 overs, Ben Stokes opens the bowling, initially to Denesh Ramdin who wafts at a leg-side delivery that goes through to gloveman Jos Buttler. Replays show the ball didn’t touch bat or glove. Marlon Samuels gets going first ball by cutting Chris Jordan for one to point, who makes a good stop.
Pre-play news

2.40pm – Confirmation that the start is delayed. The square is covered, the players are off the field and it’s far too similar to this time yesterday.
2.30pm – Hello and welcome to our live coverage of day two in Grenada. Given yesterday’s rain-delayed start, play is scheduled to begin 15 minutes early today at 2.45pm. Unfortunately, though, rain is falling so that start time looks unlikely. West Indies will resume on 188 for five with Marlon Samuels unbeaten on 94.
