5.35pm - Warwickshire will not be lulled into doing something silly against Carberry. He has delivered back-to-back maidens.
5.25pm - Michael Carberry having a bowl at Edgbaston. You assume Hampshire are giving up on the idea of a first win since their return to the top-flight.
5.15pm - ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Warwickshire (280 & 227/5) v Hampshire (319 & 339) at Edgbaston: Freak dismissal at Edgbaston, and maybe this game not quite over. A full toss from Will Smith that Tim Ambrose pushed firmly to silly point, only for the ball to lob up to mid-off where Gareth Berg took the catch. So now 227 for five, just started the last hour so 15 overs remaining, as Rikki Clarke joins Chopra.
5.05pm - RESULT! Glamorgan (419 & 116/0) have drawn with Surrey (563/7d & 207/4d) at the SWALEC Stadium: It is game over in Cardiff with Surrey unable to make any inroads into the Glamorgan order. Taking 10 wickets in two sessions was always going to be difficult. Glamorgan therefore begin their season with a couple of draws.
4.59pm - As promised Rudolph and Kettleborugh have both posted their fifties.
100 for the skipper. Varun Chopra is leading from the front today! #LVCC#YouBearspic.twitter.com/aaKw4vwX0W
— Warwickshire CCC (@CricketingBears) April 22, 2015
4.52pm - RESULT! Nottinghamshire (428 & 354/7decl) have drawn with Yorkshire (441) at Trent Bridge: Read has not strung the match out until reaching his century as the handshakes are made with the Notts skipper unbeaten on 83. Both sides take 11 points from the match.
4.41pm - Kettleborough and Rudolph have posted their century opening stand in Cardiff. Their half-centuries are not far away from appearing on this timeline.
The 100-run partnership between Read and Philander has been secured at Trent Bridge too. It's come from 107 balls as the champions start to think of the journey back up the M1.
Ambrose and Chopra have also ticked past 50 runs together. Chopra is five runs away from his century.
A minimum of 20 overs remain at Edgbaston with @CricketingBears 189-4, needing another 190 runs with 6 wickets remaining. #LVCC

4.32pm - You get the sense that Read and Varun Chopra are going to try and reach three figures before any decision to call off their respective matches is made. One of the perks of being captain!
Glamorgan skipper Jacques Rudolph is out in the middle at the SWALEC Stadium too. He and James Kettleborough are closing on half-centuries and a 100-run stand. You wouldn't assume they will go on much longer after that.
4.26pm - It is not quite an amble at Trent Bridge as a Jack Leaning over costs 16 runs. Chris Read started it with a six before he and Vernon Philander found the rope later on. Their eighth-wicket stand is nearing 100.
4.23pm - Glamorgan are 80 for one as we amble towards draws in the three remaining games. Sussex will thererfore be the clear Division One leaders after the opening two rounds. Lancashire, who also won earlier today, top Division Two.
50 for captain Chris Read coming off 80 balls with seven fours, Notts 304-7 which is a lead of 291 #NottsvYorks

4.04pm - ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Warwickshire (280 & 171/4) v Hampshire (319 & 339) at Edgbaston: Tim Ambrose has re-emerged after tea with William Porterfield as a runner, having suffered a leg injury just before the interval. That must be a worry for Warwickshire, with a heavyweight clash against Yorkshire at Headingley starting on Sunday.
3.45pm - Notts are 292 for seven at tea with Chris Read unbeaten on 39 while Vernon Philander has added 20.
Varun Chopra's unbeaten 71 has blunted Hampshire's hopes for a first win since promotion. The Bears are 171 for four.
And tea arrives with Glamorgan 57-0....Kettleborough 18*, Rudolph 30*
— Surrey Cricket (@surreycricket) April 22, 2015
3.36pm - As it stands we have two games which appear to be drifting towards draws as tea approaches, and the two pairs of captains can't be far off shaking hands.
Hampshire are the one side who are still within a chance of forcing a win over Warwickshire, but Tim Ambrose, fresh off the back of a first-innings century, is proving a problem.
3.08pm - Yorkshire skipper Andrew Gale has put down his opposite number Chris Read at cover, although it was a tough, diving chance.
Glamorgan have made steady progress on what seems to be a very flat pitch.
Talking of flat pitches, our live coverage of the second day between England and West Indies in Grenada is under way, with play due to start in around half an hour.
Wicket: Wessels is caught behind by Hodd off Leaning for 43, Notts 245-7 #NottsvYorks
— Nottinghamshire CCC (@TrentBridge) April 22, 2015
2.50pm - RESULT! Sussex (345 & 290) beat Worcestershire (389 & 185) by 61 runs - Heartbreak for the Pears as the final wicket stand falls short in the end. It was Luke Wells, just into the attack, who did the trick for Sussex who continue their winning start.
50 partnership Cox and Morris for 10th wicket Worcs 184-9
— Worcestershire CCC (@WorcsCCC) April 22, 2015
2.40pm - ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Warwickshire (280 & 145/4) v Hampshire (319 & 339) at Edgbaston: Hampshire starting to get excited here. Sam Hain has gone cheaply, turning Liam Dawson to Will Smith at short leg, and Warwickshire are now 145 for four, with Tim Ambrose joining captain Chopra.
2.32pm - Hang on a second, Will Rhodes, who is already developing into something of a golden-arm in his young career, has Patel caught behind for 76. Too late surely?
A lively partnership between Charlie Morris and Ben Cox for the 10th wicket has Sussex twitching - 74 more runs needed as Tymal Mills returns to the attack...
2.28pm - ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Warwickshire (280 & 140/3) v Hampshire (319 & 339) at Edgbaston: Another wicket for the admirable Tomlinson here, as Evans checked a drive and chipped to mid on where Andre Adams took a good tumbling catch. Chopra has reached his 50, and now been joined by Sam Hain, but at 140 for three Warwickshire have a long way to go.
197-5 and I fear this is drifting away
— Yorkshire CCC (@Yorkshireccc) April 22, 2015
2.08pm - Surrey declare on 207 for four. Glamorgan need 352 in 57 overs to win.
If you are late to join us, Lancashire are the one side who have forced a result so far today. They beat Derbyshire by 250 runs, and you can read our report on the game.
2.06pm - Varun Chopra follows Kevin Pietersen and Patel in bringing up a half-century following lunch. Warwickshire still need a further 253 runs if they are to pull off an impressive win over Hampshire.
And @KP24 moves to a very good fifty pic.twitter.com/KxprhM7iqt

1.57pm - ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Warwickshire (280 & 121/2) v Hampshire (319 & 339) at Edgbaston: Finally, a second wicket for Hampshire. James Tomlinson opened up from the Pavilion End after lunch, having bowled from the City End before it, and just found Will Porterfield’s outside edge with a beauty. Porterfield had faced 98 balls for his 29. Laurie Evans now joins Chopra with the Bears on 121 for two.
1.52pm - Are we heading for a draw at Trent Bridge? Samit Patel has made fifty and looks to have eased any fears from the Notts staff.
Five for Ajmal Shahzad! The former Yorkshrie, Nottinghamshire and Lancashire quick has ripped through the Worcestershire line-up today and his first five-for since 2011 leaves Sussex one wicket from victory.
1.43pm - It looks like Surrey will bat on after lunch, despite being 320 runs ahead with limited time on their hands should they wish to push for a win.
Any slim hopes Worcestershire fans had of sneaking a win are just about blown as Jack Shantry falls to Steve Magoffin for just a single.
Players back on the field for the afternoon session, Patterson to bowl to Patel first up, Notts 156-5 #NottsvYorks

11.40am – There seems to be a bit in it for the bowlers this morning, as Wagg sends first-innings double centurion Steven Davies on his way for 21.

11.30am – Steve Magoffin and Ajmal Shahzad get rid of Worcestershire openers Daryl Mitchell and Richard Oliver to leave the Pears in a spot of bother on 59 for two.

11.20am – ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Warwickshire (280 & 52/1) v Hampshire (319 & 339) at Edgbaston: Andre Adams has made the early breakthrough Hampshire wanted at Edgbaston, winning an lbw decision against the left-handed Ian Westwood, who added only 3 to the unusually spritely 37 he made on the third evening. So Warwickshire, who were set a tough 379 for victory, are now 52 for one, with Will Porterfield joining his captain Varun Chopra.
11.10am – The gradient of Derbyshire’s uphill task steepens as night-watchman Tom Taylor falls to Tom Bailey – Steven Croft taking the catch in the slip cordon.

Division One
Worcestershire, on 47 for no wicket, require another 200 runs on the final day to beat Sussex after off-spinner Sachithra Senanayake took 4-50 and part-time tweaker Alexei Kervezee claimed 3-72 to help dismiss the hosts for 290 at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground.
Sean Ervine's 102 and 81 from Michael Carberry helped Hampshire to 339, setting Warwickshire 379 for victory in their opening game of the season. The hosts closed on 47 without loss at Edgbaston.
After Jack Leaning's maiden first-class century helped Yorkshire post a first-innings 441, Nottinghamshire stumbled to 74 for three, leading by 61 at Trent Bridge.
Division Two
James Foster's unbeaten 80 led Essex to a five-wicket victory over Kent at the Essex County Ground.
Derbyshire are 27 for two in pursuit of 365 to beat Lancashire after a 100-run last-wicket stand between Alex Davies, with a career-best 89, and Kyle Jarvis lifted the visitors to 345 in their second knock. Ashwell Prince also contributed 97 while Tom Taylor returned figures of 6-61 at the 3aaa County Ground.
Despite a maiden first-class century from Craig Meschede, who finished unbeaten on 101 in Glamorgan's 419 all out, Surrey hold a 144-run advantage heading into the final day at the SWALEC Stadium.
