Man-of-the-match Edwards said: “It was an amazing feeling to get out there and clinch the series. It was a great performance from the whole team. We stuck to our task and followed our principals really well.”

On his career-best score, the 22-year-old said: “It was good. After all the hard work I have put in throughout the tour, it was good to get to that milestone and set up a really good competitive total.”

The victory leaves England 4-1 in front in the rubber ahead of the final match at PrincesPark tomorrow.

Edwards added: “Preparation is going good. We want to try and cap it off 5-1 and really push hard for that victory.”
