Matthew Cowdrey took sensational career-best figures of 7-19 as England Learning Disability hammered Australia by eight wickets to move 3-1 ahead in the six-match series.
The opening bowler, who turns 24 tomorrow, delivered eight stunning overs to help skittle the hosts for just 44 in Melbourne.
Chris Edwards,Jonathan Gale and Tayler Young also snared a scalp in an innings that included half-a-dozen ducks.
England lost two wickets in reply but Edwards and Lee Stenning, with an unbeaten 11 and 15 not out respectively, led their side home in 13 overs to ensure they bounced back from yesterday’s defeat in the first one-day international.
The result means the tourists cannot lose the rubber, with the final two matches taking place on Monday and Tuesday.
Man-of-the-match Cowdrey said: "It was good, a decent atmosphere. The pitch played well and we bowled well.
“We played much better than yesterday. The team performance was better. Everything was better than yesterday. We are looking ahead to the next game and looking to win that.”
