Josh Davey took six wickets and hit 53 not out as Scotland bounced back from back-to-back defeats against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi.
Scotland, who had lost their first two games to Afghanistan and Ireland respectively, were indebted to Davey who helped skittle their opponents for 63 and secure a 150-run victory.
After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Scotland made a shaky start with Kyle Coetzer, Calum MacLeod and Freddie Coleman all falling cheaply.
All over! Fitting that Davey should claim the final wicket. Scotland win by 150 runs. #followscotlandpic.twitter.com/JP69tnlRwh

Matt Machan and Preston Mommsen began the recovery, but when they fell, Mommsen’s men were floundering on 57 for five.
Richie Berrington and Davey combined for a seventh-wicket stand of 99 as Scotland recovered. Berrington eventually fell for 62 but Davey remained unbeaten on 53 as Scotland posted 213 for seven.
Javed Ahmadi looked in good touch early in the Afghanistan reply, but was Davey’s first victim as he then starred with the ball, bowling the opener for 21.
The Scotland all-rounder took the first four wickets before returning at the end to mop up the tail and finish with a career-best 6-28 to give his side a first taste of success on the tour.
