Deadline day for Surrey’s free Ashes ticket ballot is fast approaching, with entrants also able to win a master-class with England Lions batsman Jason Roy for their club.

Fans entering the ballot – which closes at midnight on Monday 10 November – can enter the name of their local cricket club for the chance to win of a host of prizes as well as tickets to the fifth Investec Test against Australia next August.

Successful entrants will get the right to buy two sought-after tickets for the potential series decider.

But as an added incentive Surrey are offering the chance of a training session with Roy, the leading run-scorer in last season’s NatWest T20 Blast, among a host of other prizes for the club mentioned the most in the ballot entries.

Fans can fill out their application forms on Surrey's website, with an area specifically marked to fill in the Twitter handle of their local club.

Surrey have offered a master-class from hard-hitting Jason Roy for the club most mentioned by applicants in their free Ashes ticket ballot

The winning club will secure a training session with Roy – for 15 of their senior or junior players – as well as a signed England shirt and bat, a tour of the Kia Oval as well as two tickets to the fifth Ashes Test.

At the start of this week there was just a single vote between the top two clubs so the results of the competition look certain to come down to the wire.

Every individual applicant will be notified of the result in their ballot entry on Friday 14 November.

The completely free ballot gives every cricket fan the chance to purchase tickets for what promises to be the most important match of next summer.Entries can be made on the Surrey website, here.
