Surrey have rewarded Jason Roy for an excellent season with a new three-year contract.

Roy has also scored 839 runs at an average of 52.44 in LV= County Championship Division Two to show there is more to his game than smashing the ball to all parts.

Surrey director of cricket Alec Stewart said: "We are delighted that Jason has signed his new contract and committed his future to the club.

"Jason has had an excellent season in all forms of the game culminating in his deserved call up to the England squad for the T20 against India.
