Kevin Pietersen is in line to make his NatWest T20 Blast debut for Surrey against Essex Eagles on Friday night.
The 33-year-old was set to make his season bow in last week’s London derby versus Middlesex Panthers at the Kia Oval, only for a finger injury to sideline the batsman.
But a week on, he will be in action at home to the Eagles.
Surrey sit third in the South Group after winning two of their three matches to date.
