Captain Preston Mommsen fired an unbeaten 139 as Scotland booked an ICC World Cup date with England thanks to a 41-run victory over the United Arab Emirates.
Mommsen came in with his side 37 for three in the final of the qualifying competition in New Zealand but partnerships of 91 with Freddie Coleman and 138 with Richie Berrington, who struck 31 and 63 respectively, lifted them to 285 for five from their 50 over allocation.
In response, Swapnil Patil finished unbeaten on 99 as the UAE could only muster 244 for nine, with Rob Taylor, Safyaan Sharif and Iain Wardlaw claiming three wickets apiece.
Both sides had already booked their place at next year's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand by finishing in the top two of the Super Six stage of the qualifying competition.
But the win ensured Scotland will go into Pool A alongside England and the two hosts, as well as Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
UAE will face South Africa, India, Pakistan, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Ireland in Pool B.
