@SussexCCC on Twitter: He's getting a good ovation for his knock of 97 from the Hove crowd. Or as we like to call it, a 'Hovation'...!
4:55pm - Taylor goes for 97! He's caught behind by Ben Brown off Chris Jordan with the visitors leading by 255.
4:50pm - It’s been a quite thrilling afternoon of YB40 action so far with the six games averaging a first-innings score of 272. We’re going to have a few tasty run-chases when the action gets back underway.
In the championship, batsmen are also in the ascendancy with Surrey and Sussex straining for wickets. Taylor is seven runs short of a ton for Nottinghamshire.
@LancsCCC on Twitter: That is Durham's highest List A score v Lancs - a record which has stood since their first ever match against anyone in 1992.
4:40pm - With Essex and Durham also completing their 40 overs, here’s a round-up of the scores from all six YB40 games at the interval:

At Taunton, Wright’s unbeaten 75 has propelled Glamorgan to 245 for nine from 40 overs and a fifty partership between Adil Rashid and Will Rhodes helped Yorkshire finish on 240 for six.
4:27pm - Ten Doeschate’s fireworks have sadly come to an end at Chelmsford. The Essex batsman struck an incredible 180 from 98 deliveries in a knock which featured eight fours and 15 sixes! Preston Mommsen will certainly be relieved after seeing his last over go for 28! In the whirlwind climax to the innings, Graham Napier has also departed, for three.
Tremlett has picked up another wicket; this time it is Hughes who sees his stumps re-arranged by the Surrey seamer. The Derbyshire opener made 68 with the championship game at Derby meandering towards a draw.
Will Smith and Ryan Pringle have been casualties of Durham’s attempts to eke out some late runs while Northamptonshire finish on 263 for four, thanks to a century from skipper Wakely.

Middlesex’s Ollie Rayner bags two wickets in two overs, snaring Shiv Thakor for 12 and Matthew Boyce for 22.
Rob Newton and Alex Wakely both have fifties for Northants and are sharing an unbroken century stand.
@derbyshireccc on Twitter: Wicket. Godleman is trapped lbw by Tremlett for 28 by a delivery that seemed to stay low. Derbyshire 76-1 (18.4 overs); trail by 25.

2:53pm - Mustard’s enterprising stay at the crease has come to an end. The wicketkeeper-batsman made 65 from 47 balls before he was enticed into an aerial shot by Stephen Parry, caught by Wayne White at long-on.
The Foxes have also made a quick start but that might be slowed by Greg Smith’s departure, caught behind off Tim Murtagh. Niall O'Brien then goes for 41 as Middlesex mount a comeback. The hosts are 102 for three.
Adam Riley’s second delivery has proved fruitful for Kent as Kyle Coetzer is snared lbw for 10.
@Yorkshireccc on Twitter: ESCAPE: Ballance (11) is given a life by Marshall at slip, dropping an edge above his head. Yorks 85-2 off 17.1 overs
2:44pm - The hosts are well on top at Taunton where Jim Allenby can only make nine before edging Meschede through to Alex Barrow who takes a sharp catch. Glamorgan are 61 for four in the 14th over.

2:40pm - Shah goes third ball, ousted by Drummond for a duck! Not the kind of return he would have been hoping for.

Glamorgan continue to falter, with Overton claiming opener Will Bragg as his second victim. Yorkshire seemed to have shrugged off their early setback before skipper Andrew Gale succumbed to David Payne for 26. At Tunbridge Wells, Darren Stevens has removed Sales for 15.
2:26pm - Owais Shah is striding to the crease following Mark Pettini’s dismissal. Calvin Burnett picked up the wicket with his first delivery, caught by Gordon Drummond in the 10th over at Chelmsford.
Glamorgan are now also two down, with Chris Cooke making just three, and the Panthers have a breakthrough at Leicester where Josh Cobb saw his stumps disturbed by James Harris for 25.
2:17pm - Craig Meschede has claimed the wicket of Glamorgan opener Mark Wallace in his first over to give Somerset a foothold, but elsewhere it’s the batsmen who are in charge.
Durham and Leicestershire have both moved past 50 without loss while Rob Newton and David Sales have given the Steelbacks a solid start.
2:02pm - Two wickets in an over have stunted Surrey’s progress after lunch with both Gary Wilson and Chris Tremlett back in the hutch. Wilson could only manage to hit Wes Durston into the hands of Mark Footitt at long-on, while a mix-up with Gareth Batty left Tremlett stranded in no man’s land. After the next over, Batty chooses to declare with the away side having reached 553 for eight. That’s a 101-run lead.
@Yorkshireccc on Twitter: DROP! Jacques (0) dropped at slip by Gidman two balls after the wicket. Yorks 7-1 off 3 overs

Elsewhere, Nick Compton will be in action and looking for runs against Glamorgan at Taunton.
We’re moments away from the resumption of play in the two championship fixtures...
@EssexCricket on Twitter: We start on time. Hamish Rutherford makes his debut for the Eagles and there is a first appearance for Owais Shah.
1:32pm - Here is the news from the middle of all six of this afternoon’s YB40 games:

Glamorgan have been put into bat by Somerset at Taunton.
Yorkshire Vikings have won the toss and will bat against Gloucestershire Gladiators at Headingley.
1:05pm - Ponting has gone! After almost six hours at the crease, Derbyshire have finally found a way to remove the Surrey debutant. He’s run out for 192 on the stroke of lunch, attempting a quick single.
Shortly afterwards, the session comes to an end with Surrey having reached 517 for six.
The players are also leaving the field at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground where Nottinghamshire are 64 for two after a busy morning. Cowan and James Taylor have steadied the ship following Magoffin’s double strike.
@derbyshireccc on Twitter:CHANCE! Wilson's (25*) drive falls just short of Hughes at extra cover, before Wainwright narrowly misses a run out attempt. Surrey 514-5
12:49pm - Surrey have reached 500 and it’s thanks, in most part, to the imperious Ponting. Arun Harinath’s 154 gave the away side a wonderful platform, but the Australian, who is now 184 not out, has oozed class throughout his knock.
Nottinghamshire, meanwhile, are closing in on a 100-run lead.
@SussexCCC on Twitter: Steve Magoffin is now the country's leading wicket-taker with 32 wickets #GOSBTS
@derbyshireccc on Twitter: Wilson (2*) is the new man who joins Ponting who is unbeaten on 166 - the highest score by a Surrey debutant. Surrey 464-5; lead by 12 runs.
12:23pm - With Davies looking to get on with things at Derby, David Wainwright lures the wicketkeeper-batsman into a mistake which allows Billy Godleman to take the catch at deep midwicket. Nevertheless, Davies’ 59 has certainly offered able support to Ponting, who remains unbeaten on 166.
A wicket has also fallen in a game between Sussex and Nottinghamshire which continues to move at a hectic pace. Magoffin claims his second scalp, that of Lumb caught behind by Brown for eight. Six wickets have gone down at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground in the morning session and we still have over half an hour until lunch!
12:16pm - After Ponting moves beyond 150, Davies reaches a half-century from 46 balls. Surrey are now ahead of Derbyshire’s 452 thanks to the pair’s century stand.
No further scares for Nottinghamshire as Cowan and Michael Lumb settle things down with a patient start.
@surreycricket on Twitter: And Ponting moves to his 150 with a lovely drive...225 b 18x4 #battedMrPonting
11:43am - Cowan’s opening partner is unable to start on a similarly positive note, however, as Hales goes first ball! Magoffin is the man to make the breakthrough for the hosts.
No such troubles for the batsmen at Derby, who continue to accumulate runs at a healthy rate.
11:36am - Ponting and Davies have moved their fifth-wicket partnership past 50 while also bringing up Surrey’s 400.
Ed Cowan and Alex Hales will be hoping to build on Nottinghamshire’s early momentum. Cowan does exactly that with his first delivery, sending Anyon to the fence.
11:29am - Hat-trick! Harry Gurney has routed the lower-order to leave Sussex 306 all out.
First, Samit Patel holds on to a thick edge to dismiss Brown for 35 before James Anyon falls in similar fashion with Steven Mullaney making no mistake in the slips.
Monty Panesar then rushes out to the middle only to return to the pavilion immediately after giving Patel his second catch of the innings.
Gurney finishes with 4-69 and Nottinghamshire have a 50-run cushion going into their second innings. A perfect half-hour for the away side!
@CHANCE! Wainwright's direct hit has Davies (14*) scrambling but he just makes his ground in time. Surrey 372-4 (114 overs); Ponting 123* on Twitter:

Steven Davies has moved on to 14 at Derby, with an early four off Mark Footitt getting things started in positive fashion for the visitors.
10:55am - As soon as the coins have been tossed at the YB40 games we will let you know, but for now, it’s all eyes on Division One...
10:45am - We have a couple of championship games getting underway at 11am to whet the appetite for a bumper afternoon of 40-over action.
