The Yorkshire Bank 40 is back in a big way this weekend with 12 games from all three groups spread across the UK as the road to September’s Lord's final continues.

Scottish Saltires host Derbyshire Falcons in Edinburgh on Sunday and Surrey at the same venue in a Bank Holiday clash the following day.

Sussex Sharks visit their out ground Horsham to host Kent Spitfires on Sunday, while Middlesex Panthers also travel to their nearby second home, Radlett, to welcome Yorkshire Vikings on Monday.

The Unicorns and Kent have highly picturesque venues for their fixtures this weekend, with matches at Wormsley and Tunbridge Wells respectively.

Plus there are games for Nottinghamshire Outlaws and the the Netherlands at Trent Bridge; Worcestershire Royals and Northants Steelbacks at New Road; Leicestershire Foxes and Somerset at Grace Road and Gloucestershire Gladiators and the Unicorns on Sunday.

The other Bank Holiday games include Durham against Derbyshire at the Emirates Durham ICG and Northants versus Warwickshire at Wantage Road.

Nottinghamshire currently lead Group A, with three victories from their three games. Hampshire Royals top Group B with four wins and a loss from five outings, while Somerset head up Group C courtesy of a perfect three-match record.

Stephen Parry of Lancashire Lightning and Trent Copeland of Northants are the current leading wicket-takers across the competition with five apiece, with all of the former’s coming in a superb match-winning haul of 5-17 against Surrey last weekend.

Michael Carberry of Hampshire leads the most runs in the competition so far with an impressive total of 330, including an imperious 150 not out against Lancashire on Wednesday.
