Hampshire have dropped ‘Royals’ from their limited-overs name.
The county have made the decision as they prepare for the 150th anniversary of their first game on July 7 1864.
Hampshire have used the ‘Royals’ name since early 2010, during which time they have enjoyed much limited-overs success, including being Twenty20 champions in 2010 and 2012 and Clydesdale Bank 40 winners in 2012.
