ECB today announced the international dates and venues for Sri Lanka's tour of England next summer.
Sri Lanka will begin their tour in mid-May with a NatWest T20 International against their hosts at The Kia Oval ahead of a five-match series of One-Day Internationals at The Kia Oval, Emirates Durham ICG, Emirates Old Trafford, Lord's and Edgbaston.
The tourists, who will be touring England for the first time since 2011, will then play a two-match Investec Test series with the first Test Match due to be staged at Lord's and the second at Headingley - both in June.
England will be seeking to repeat their triumph of two years ago when they defeated Sri Lanka 1-0 in a three-match Test series and narrowly won the five-match NatWest Series 3-2. The tourists, however, emerged as 1-0 victors in the two-match NatWest T20 International Series.
ECB Chief Executive David Collier said: "We look forward to welcoming Sri Lanka again to this country and anticipate that they will provide strong opposition for England in all formats of the game in what promises to be another hugely exciting programme of international cricket next summer with Sri Lanka and India as our touring teams."
Please note: Further details of Sri Lanka's tour matches against first-class counties will be announced in due course.
