The Board for Control of Cricket in India has approved a Test series with West Indies in November that would allow Sachin Tendulkar to make his 200th format appearance on home turf.
The 40-year-old has played 198 Tests, 30 more than anyone else, and was due to reach the 200-mark on the trip to South Africa, which is set to take place late this year and early next.
However, he is now in line to post that landmark when West Indies visit, the itinerary for which is to be confirmed.
