England have named 17 players across their three squads in the Women's Ashes Series, which begins with a Test match at Wormsley in Berkshire on Sunday August 11. All three will be captained by Charlotte Edwards who will play in her 11th Ashes Test.

The 14-player Test squad includes the return of Katherine Brunt and Laura Marsh alongside Yorkshire's Lauren Winfield and Surrey's Natalie Sciver, who both made their international debuts against Pakistan last month. The squad features seven of the players from the 2011 Ashes series when Australia won the single Test match in Bankstown, Sydney.

A further two 14-player squads have been named for the three NatWest Women's One-Day Internationals and three NatWest Women's International T20 matches which are part of the new multi-format Women's Ashes Series. Following the Test match Holly Colvin and Georgia Elwiss will replace Sciver and Danielle Wyatt for the ODI matches with the latter pair returning for the Twenty20 Internationals along with a call-up for Kent's 17-year old left arm seamer Natasha Farrant.

Head of England Women's Cricket Clare Connor said: "Facing Australia is the ultimate test for every player. The inaugural multi-format Women's Ashes is unprecedented in terms of establishing a winning team across all three formats. Our selectors have picked well balanced squads to maximise the strengths of our players in each of the formats of the game. England are focussed on regaining the Ashes and we know Australia will be looking to continue their dominance of the past couple of years, so we anticipate an exciting and hard-fought month of international women's cricket, culminating in the three televised T20I matches live on Sky Sports."

ECB.co.uk will have live score updates and video highlights of every day's play with BBC radio also covering all games. The three International T20 matches will be broadcast live on Sky Sports with the second and third matches at Southampton and Durham being played directly before England men play Australia.
