Recap a thrilling day of LV= County Championship cricket, a good one for Warwickshire, Durham and Middlesex as they earned Division One victories.
By Rob Barnett, Matt Somerford & James O'Brien
6.55pm - As promised, here are the scores at the end of another exciting day in the LV= County Championship:
Jeetan Patel took his 500th first-class wicket on his way to figures of 4-69 as Warwickshire wrapped up a 181-run victory over Worcestershire, their sixth in a row against their local rivals.
Nightwatchman Mark Wood hit a career-best 66 to help Durham to a six-wicket win against Nottinghamshire which briefly took them top of the table.
It was a short stay because of Middlesex's 79-run success at Sussex, a third win in four Championship matches which came after Steven Finn and Neil Dexter took four wickets apiece.
Yorkshire are well on course for their second victory of the campaign after Cheteshwar Pujara's maiden century for the county was followed by three quick Jack Brooks wickets to leave Hampshire37 for four heading into the final day.
Chesney Hughes top-scored with 104 as Derbyshire declared on 407 for five before Mark Footitt took two late wickets to leave Northamptonshire struggling to save the game on 40 for two.
Nightwatchman James Tredwell was one of three Kent players to reach a half-century in a total of 327, with Jacques Rudolph departing early to leave Glamorgan32 for one with nine wickets to play with on day four.
Gloucestershire are in a healthy position against Lancashire after fifties from Peter Handscomb and Hamish Marshall left them 206 for three at stumps, 230 runs ahead.
Ned Eckersley's brilliant 118 gave Leicestershire a fighting chance of earning a draw from their match against Surrey, who are only 45 behind with five wickets to take.
6.29pm - Derbyshire are still plugging away in search of a third wicket, with Northants pair Azhar and Rob Newton looking to survive the last two overs of the day. We will have a round-up of the day's action shortly after stumps are drawn at the 3aaa County Ground.

6.25pm - ecb.co.uk’s Callum Dent at Yorkshire (370 & 305/4 declared) v Hampshire (227 & 37/4): Adil Rashid’s late strike leaves Yorkshire needing just six wickets tomorrow to secure a second Division One victory of the season. Pujara, along with cameos from Jonny Bairstow and Leaning, ground Hampshire down before Brooks piled on further misery for the visitors. Another good day for the Tykes.
6.19pm - Madsen's decision to pull out when he did is proving to be a master stroke. Mark Footitt has his second after Kyle Coetzer edges through to wicketkeeper Hosein to leave Northants struggling on 17 for two.
Dawson gone! Rashid gets the wicket as the opener is LBW for 16. Tomlinson the new man.

6.12pm - They're also done for the day at Old Trafford, where Gloucestershire are 230 runs ahead with seven wickets remaining. There could be fireworks in the morning as the visitors look to push on in their victory pursuit.
6.10pm - Glamorgan suffer a major blow in their bid to save their match against Kent as Jacques Rodolph is bowled by Coles for just 14. They will be desperate to get to the close without any further damage.
6.05pm - Leicestershire get to stumps on day three at The Kia Oval on 310 for five. An unbroken 50-run stand between Niall O'Brien and Ben Raine gives the visitors a fighting chance. They hold only a slender 45-run lead but are battling hard.

— Derbyshire CCC (@DerbyshireCCC) May 12, 2015
5.51pm - Madsen shows his ruthless side by declaring with 18-year-old Harvey Hosein four runs short of only his second first-class half-century. He obviously feels a 426-run lead is more than enough and has invited Northants to bat out a tricky period at the end of the day.

5.43pm - Hamish Marshall quickly follows Peter Handscomb to fifty as their partnership moves towards the 100 mark. The pair are putting Gloucestershire in a strong position - 193 runs ahead of Lancashire with seven wickets remaining.
5.34pm - Brooks loves taking wickets in clusters and he's at it again, with James Vince edging him to Adam Lyth at slip to become his third victim.
Glamorgan face a daunting target of 404 after bowling Kent out for 327, Calum Haggett the last man out, bowled by Hogan.
There's a fifty for @phandscomb54 off 99 balls, his second in three innings. @gloscricket 158-3 in the 47th, leading by 182.
— Gloucestershire CCC (@Gloscricket) May 12, 2015
5.20pm - In amongst the drama at Headingley and Middlesex celebrations at Hove, Derbyshire lose their fifth wicket as Shiv Thakor departs and Kent are close to bowling again after losing Matt Coles.
5.14pm - ecb.co.uk’s Callum Dent at Yorkshire (370 & 305/4 declared) v Hampshire (227 & 1/2): Yorkshire are on a roll! They wore Hampshire down in the field and now strike with the ball immediately. Jack Brooks has Sean Terry and Michael Carberry caught behind the wicket in successive deliveries, his second and third balls of the innings. James Vince denies his fellow England Lion a hat-trick.
5.07pm - RESULT! Middlesex (269 & 209) beat Sussex (192 & 207) by 79 runs - Finn has Ajmal Shahzad caught behind to finish with 4-51 and complete a victory which sees Middlesex displace Durham, who enjoyed top spot for little over half an hour.
5.03pm - Zafar Ansari traps Neil Pinner in front to claim his third scalp and reduce Leicestershire to 260 for five.
Kent lose their eighth wicket as Sam Billings departs for 37 after Dean Cosker has him caught by Michael Hogan. The hosts remain in a commanding position, though, with a lead of 373.
WICKET.. another catch by Voges as Rayner picks up the wicket of Steve Magoffin for 10. Sussex 205 for 9 needing another 82 to win #GOSBTS
— Sussex CCC (@SussexCCC) May 12, 2015
4.55pm -ecb.co.uk’s Callum Dent at Yorkshire (370 & 305/4 declared) v Hampshire (227): Yorkshire call time on their second innings on 305 for four, setting Hampshire an unlikely 449 to win. Pujara and Jack Leaning added 95 in 12 overs, the pair finishing on 133 and 43 respectively.
4.52pm - Robinson bashes 25 at a run a ball before falling to Finn. Sussex require 82 to win with just two wickets left as Ajmal Shahzad, unable to bowl for most of the match due to a right pectoral injury, joins Steve Magoffin in the middle.
Fabien Cowdrey departs for 54 to David Lloyd, although Kent are still in control against Glamorgan.
4.42pm – Steven Finn snares Ben Brown to leave Sussex seven down with 102 runs needed to win, but capable new batsman Oliver Robinson hits his second and third balls for four.
David Willey has Scott Elstone caught behind for 25, ending a fifty partnership with Wayne Madsen. Derbyshire are still right on top of Northants though.

4.26pm – RESULT! Durham (163 & 261/4) defeat Nottinghamshire (245 & 178) by six wickets– Durham go top of the Division One table, for the time being anyway, thanks to a chase of 261. Keaton Jennings, nightwatchman Mark Wood, Scott Borthhwick and Richardson made fifties, the latter’s unbeaten.
4.25pm –ecb.co.uk’s Callum Dent at Yorkshire (370 & 237/4) v Hampshire (227): Century for Cheteshwar Pujara, his first for Yorkshire. The India international’s innings, containing 12 fours and a maximum, has featured several late cuts and a couple of strong pulls. A declaration cannot be far away.
4.22pm – Michael Richardson raises a fifty for Durham, who are on the brink of victory.
Graham Wagg has Darren Stevens caught behind, leaving Kent 312 ahead with four wickets left.
4.10pm – Will Tavare plays on to Nathan Buck for 34 to leave the game at Emirates Old Trafford intriguingly poised. Gloucestershire lead by 100 with seven wickets left.

3.51pm - ecb.co.uk’s Callum Dent at Yorkshire (370 & 219/4) v Hampshire (227): Yorkshire lead by 362 at tea courtesy of Pujara, eight runs short of his maiden Yorkshire century, and Bairstow’s 130-run stand. Bairstow’s dismissal for 59 meant he missed the chance to become the first batsman to make centuries in consecutive innings of a match at Headingley.
Kent are 228 for five as they take tea at Canterbury with a 304-run lead over Glamorgan while Derbyshire are 281 for three. That leaves them 300 ahead of Northants at the break.
3.48pm - Borthwick is not going to see Durham home. He was in a rush to do it, but Samit Patel cuts him down for 51. Patel's first over cost 15 before getting an lbw decision from the first ball of his second over.
3.42pm - Play is due to start against at Emirates Old Trafford at 3.50pm. The weather has improved so we might get those 39 overs still to be bowled tonight.
Scott Borthwick ticks over to a fifty and Durham need 33 more to win. Tea is being taken at the Kia Oval with Leicestershire 208 for three.
WICKET - Sussex 138-5. Wright b Dexter 12. Yardy 52*. Target 287. #SUSvMID#TeamMiddlesex
— Middlesex Cricket (@Middlesex_CCC) May 12, 2015
3.35pm - Northamptonshire might be facing the prospect of a large final-day chase, but they can claim to have knocked over Amla cheaply in both innings. David Willey gets one through the South Africa Test skipper's defences for 20 - a pretty decent ball too - to follow his one first time round.
The Bairstow-Pujara combination has been broken with the former caught by Sean Ervine off Liam Dawson. They added 130 in good time and Yorkshire are 353 ahead.
Fifty too for Bairstow (54*) as an impressive fourth wicket partnership with Pujara (84*) takes Yorkshire past 200 - 203-3 (346 lead) #LVCC

3.25pm - Brendan Nash is caught by Mark Wallace off Craig Meschede for 45 and Kent are 197 for five - leading by 273 runs.
Rain has forced the players off at Emirates Old Trafford with Gloucestershire 64 for two - they are going to take an early tea. They're due to bowl 39 overs in the evening session.
3.18pm - Big wicket at the Kia Oval as Eckersley falls for 118. Ansari strikes again with Jason Roy taking the catch. Foxes skipper Mark Cosgrove has plenty of work to do.
Middlesex have a fourth wicket in their top-of-the-table clash with Sussex at Hove. Craig Cachopa is bowled by Steven Finn. Sussex are 123 for four and need 164 more runs to win.
Slater falls six runs short of a century for Derbyshire after edging David Willey to keeper Adam Rossington.
3.14pm - RESULT! Warwickshire (264 & 321/8d) beat Worcestershire (149 & 255) by 181 runs - Warwickshire wrap up their first Championship win of the season with Keith Barker taking the final wicket - Sachithra Senanayake caught by Bears skipper Varun Chopra.
MILESTONE | Congratulations to our captain Mark Cosgrove, who has made 10,000 first-class runs. The landmarks keep coming in this game...
— Leicestershire CCC (@leicsccc) May 12, 2015
3.05pm - ecb.co.uk’s Callum Dent at Yorkshire (370 & 164/3) v Hampshire (227): Jonny Bairstow and Pujara, with 73, his highest score for Yorkshire, take their side’s lead past 300. Another hundred before a declaration? The floodlights are on.
2.55pm - Sussex's chase becomes more complicated as Ed Joyce, so often relied upon, fails to score before edging Neil Dexter behind to John Simpson.
Warwickshire are a wicket away from victory now as Boyd Rankin finds the edge of Jack Shantry's bat.
Ben Cox cutting ct behind for bright 44 b Patel Worcs 216-8
— Worcestershire CCC (@WorcsCCC) May 12, 2015
2.48pm - Matt Machan drives Neil Dexter to mid-on and Sussex are 92 for two chasing 287 for victory.
Tredwell is gone too - almost apologetically so soon after fellow nightwatchman Mark Wood departed up in Durham. Tredwell falls for 53 to Michael Hogan, who then also gets Sam Northeast for a duck. Kent's lead is 251.
2.41pm - Ned Eckersley brings up three figures, from 132 balls, at the Kia Oval but Leicestershire lose opener Angus Robson soon after for 55, lbw to Zafar Ansari. The Foxes have made a strong reply after Kevin Pietersen flayed their attack. They are 161 for two and trail by 104 runs.
Meanwhile, hopes of twin nightwatchman centuries are over as Mark Wood is bowled by Harry Gurney for 66. Over to you now Tredders...
Wicket! Roderick gone, lbw Siddle for 4, @Gloscricket 2nd inns 30-2 lead by 54 #LanvGlo
— Lancashire CCC (@LancsCCC) May 12, 2015
2.34pm - A couple of half-centuries to report and one more expected than the other. India Test number three Cheteshwar Pujara is the likely candidate, raising his bat as Yorkshire's lead passes 250, while James Tredwell might not have been backed to get to a half-century after walking out as Kent's nightwatchman last night. He and Mark Wood must have got their heads down in the nets while in the Caribbean.
2.28pm - Hughes falls in the over after reaching his century. The opener, who began the season out of the team, is trapped in front by Rob Keogh for 104.
A 205-run stand with fellow opener Ben Slater has laid the most solid of platforms for Derbyshire, though, with their lead standing at 224 over Northants. Next man in - South Africa Test captain Hashim Amla.
75.5: #CENTURY! Excellent hundred from @ChesneyH22 in 200-run stand with Slater (78*); #DCCC 201-0 #DERvNOR#P2bDpic.twitter.com/2SBC73cP2b

2.22pm - Warwickshire are on the brink of a first Championship win of the season as Alexei Kervezee is snapped up in the gully by Laurie Evans off Rikki Clarke. The Pears are seven down.
Derbyshire opener Chesney Hughes has a nervous moment on 99 as he survives a big lbw shout.
2.17pm - ecb.co.uk’s Callum Dent at Yorkshire (370 & 104/3) v Hampshire (227): Despite taking two wickets with his quick bowling, Edwards is showing his frustration out in the middle. After Cheteshwar Pujara takes him for three consecutive fours, the West Indian kicks the turf when first-innings centurion Jonny Bairstow edges through a vacant third-slip position. Hampshire, 247 behind, can only afford one in the cordon. Edwards also had a loud lbw appeal against Alex Lees turned down before lunch.
2.10pm - Notts have finally broken through at the Emirates Durham ICG, but it is Jennings who falls rather than the nightwatchman. Luke Wood gets the wicket, Jennings held by Steven Mullaney for 61. The partnership was worth 116 runs. Mark Wood remains on his career-best 59. Durham need 131 runs.
Sussex have lost the first wicket of their pursuit. Chris Nash caught by Ollie Rayner off Toby Roland-Jones for 22.
2.03pm - Mark Wood brings up just the second half-century of his first-class career. The nightwatchman gets there from 89 balls and with Keaton Jennings has now combined in a 100-run stand that has Durham well on course to victory. Co-incidentally, Wood's only other first-class fifty came against Notts too.

1.20pm – Here are the lunch scores:
Division One
In the one match in its last day Worcestershire are 148 for five, batting for a draw versus Warwickshire, having just lost lynchpin captain Daryl Mitchell. For what it’s worth, the Pears need 288 more to win.
Durham are going well on 107 for one, with Keaton Jennings having just raised a fifty and nightwatchman Mark Wood on 47. They need 154 more to beat Nottinghamshire.
Sussex this morning dismissed Middlesex for 209, Steve Magoffin and Oliver Robinson each finishing with four wickets. Chasing 287 to win, Sussex are 20 without loss.
Yorkshire needed just 15 balls to take Hampshire’s last two first-innings wickets today, Jack Brooks and Adil Rashid ending with four scalps apiece. The White Rose are 71 for two second time round, 214 in front.
Division Two
Kevin Pietersen was unbeaten on 355, Surrey’s best-ever score, in a first-innings total of 557 that included a last-wicket stand of 139 with Matt Dunn. Leicestershire are 94 for one in their second dig, 171 behind.
Derbyshire are going great guns on 169 for none, Ben Slater and Chesney Hughes with half-centuries, in their second innings. Northamptonshire trail by 188 runs.
Kent are 115 for one, Joe Denly with a fifty and nighwatchman James Tredwell unbeaten on 43, in their second dig. They hold a 191-run advantage over Glamorgan.
Opener Paul Horton extended his overnight 134 to 168 before Lancashire were dismissed for 364 on the stroke of lunch, 24 behind Gloucestershire on first innings. Liam Norwell took a four-for.

1.01pm –ecb.co.uk’s Callum Dent at Yorkshire (370 & 71/2) v Hampshire (227): Yorkshire are well placed at lunch despite losing both openers. They lead by 214. Hampshire’s fielders look cold out in the middle, fielding in their baggy jumpers with hands regularly in pockets, although Michael Carberry earlier hurried a pigeon away from his position at point!
1pm – Lunch is arriving around the grounds, although not before Keaton Jennings registers a fifty for Durham and Gloucestershire’s Craig Miles accounts for Nathan Buck, leaving Lancashire all out for 364, 24 behind on first innings. We’ll soon round up the scores for you.

12.36pm – Horton is caught behind off Norwell for 168, meaning the former Lancashire captain doesn’t quite follow Pietersen’s example as he had hoped to.
Hampshire’s Gareth Berg bowls Alex Lees to put both Yorkshire’s opener back in the pavilion.
12.29pm – Middlesex are all out for 209 as Steven Finn miscues a pull at Steve Magoffin to be caught in the covers. Sussex need 287 to win. Magoffin and Robinson finish with four wickets each.

Fidel Edwards is bowling fast and short, hitting Lyth on the helmet with a bouncer, but the left-hander is fine to continue.

10.45am –ecb.co.uk’s Callum Dent at Yorkshire (370) v Hampshire (223/8): Good morning from Headingley where, although it is bright, there has been light rain in the air. It shouldn’t cause any delays, though. Yorkshire will be aiming to wrap up Hampshire’s first innings sharpish before building a sizeable advantage. The visitors, trailing by 147, will have first-class debutant Lewis McManus, unbeaten on 10, and West Indian Fidel Edwards at the crease first thing.
10.40am – Good morning and welcome to our live LV= County Championship coverage. The match at Edgbaston is in its last day while the others are on day three. Here’s how they all stand:
A ninth-wicket stand of 114 between Boyd Rankin and Chris Wright helped Warwickshire set Worcestershire 437 to win, and they finished the day on 88 for two after Moeen Ali departed late on.
Middlesex extended their lead over Sussex to 203 runs with four second-innings wickets left on 126 despite much of the evening being wiped out by bad light.
Four wickets for Mark Wood helped Durham come back strongly after conceding a heavy first-innings lead to Nottinghamshire, who set the hosts 261 to win before dismissing Mark Stoneman cheaply to leave the score 15 for one.
