3:16pm - Rikki Clarke seems to want to get a move on. He's smashed three sixes off one Matthew Spriegel over and Warwickshire require 42 runs to win from 48 balls.
3:09pm - RESULT! Worcestershire (182 & 337) lose to Gloucestershire (326 & 195/4) by six wickets: Benny Howell wraps up a comfortable victory for his side with a four.
3:02pm: Klinger falls short of a hundred as he's bowled for 92! But his side are closing in on victory, needing seven runs to win with six wickets in hand.
Warwickshire are now four wickets down, Darren Maddy and William Porterfield send back to the pavilion.

2:42pm - Willey removes Varun Chopra for five and then cleans up Laurie Evans first ball. He will be on a hat-trick at the start of his next over and Warwickshire are wobbling at 17 for two.
2:32pm - Worcestershire are not giving up just yet. With 42 needed, Graeme Cessford has Gidman lbw for 25.

2:25pm - Is there rain forecast in Cheltenham? I only ask because Gloucestershire appear to be in a hurry to get things finished! New batsman Alex Gidman and Klinger have shared six fours and a six in the last four overs.
2:16pm - Chris Woakes and Rankin finish with two scalps apiece as the visitors to Edgbaston are restricted to a modest total of 111 all out.
Moeen has also claimed a second wicket, that of Gareth Roderick, but Gloucestershire need just 71 more.
2:07pm - Gloucestershire captain Michael Klinger has raced past 50 following the loss of his partner and a home win looks increasingly likely at Cheltenham.
Northants now 102 for eight with 15 deliveries remaining.
1:55pm - Piolet finishes with 3-24 from four overs, having ended Willey's dangerous stay with his penultimate delivery. Northants are struggling on 88 for six.
Worcestershire have made a first breakthrough, Moeen Ali trapping Chris Dent lbw for 45 to leave Gloucestershire 99 for one.
1:51pm - That's more like it for the Steelbacks! David Willey clobbers three maximums in one over from Javid. Coetzer departs to Piolet in the next over, however.
1:43pm - Piolet ousts Steven Crook for 14 to leave Northants 62 for four in the 12th.
At Cheltenham, Gloucestershire have resumed their run-chase and Worcestershire need wickets quickly...lots of them in fact!
1:36pm - Northants just cannot get going. After nine overs the score reads 45 for three, Wakely having fallen to Boyd Rankin.
1:25pm - A maximum from Alex Wakely gives Northants a much-needed lift, but Warwickshire will be happy to see just 29 runs come from the six-over powerplay.

1:10pm - After taking seven from the first over, bowled by Ateeq Javid, Northants are held up by Rikki Clarke, who removes Levi while conceding just one in the second set of six.
Cameron White is then run out by Steffan Piolet to leave the Steelbacks nine for two.
1:01pm - Gloucestershire will enjoy their lunch; Klinger's men have ended the morning on 77 without loss and require a further 117 to beat Worcestershire.
Northants' innings is under way with Richard Levi and Kyle Coetzer opening the batting.
12:44pm - RESULT! Leicestershire (365 & 131) lose to Essex (521) by an innings and 25 runs at Chelmsford: You don’t often make 365 in your first dig and lose by an innings, but that is precisely what has happened to Leicestershire. Greg Smith applies the last rites and completes a five-wicket haul by having Alex Wyatt stumped.
Klinger and Dent continue to make merry in the one championship match still in progress. Both have 33 to their name at present.
12:31pm - Napier makes it two wickets in three balls by ousting Freckingham for 24 and Essex are one wicket from victory.

Matthew Boyce and Ollie Freckingham have held up Essex's push for victory, but Leicestershire, seven down, still need 36 more to avoid an innings reverse.
12:21pm - RESULT! Sussex (229 & 310) lose to Middlesex (496 & 44/0) by 10 wickets at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground: Dawid Malan and Sam Robson finish unbeaten on 19 and 18 respectively as Middlesex inflict a first defeat of the season on Sussex in some style. The visitors to Hove were always in control after Robson’s first-innings 166 and not even another magnificent century from Luke Wright could save the team who began this week as Division One leaders, an honour now held by Yorkshire. Middlesex are firmly back in the title race!
12:10pm - Unsurprisingly, Middlesex are making light work of their paltry target. They are almost home already.
12:02pm - Gloucestershire have adopted a positive approach to their pursuit. Chris Dent took seven from the first three balls he faced prior to Michael Klinger clearing the ropes off Gareth Andrew in an over yielding 14.

11:50am - It could be a quiet afternoon for ecb.co.uk's county blog. Essex now have Leicestershire 75 for six, still 81 in arrears, after Tom Craddock trapped Josh Cobb in front for one.
Gloucestershire's pursuit of 194 has begun.
11:43am - Wright's resistance is brought to an end as he holes out off Collymore for a magnificent 161. That ends Sussex's second dig on 310 and leaves Middlesex needing just 44 to win.
11:38am - Tom Smith completes a return of 4-91 by removing Cessford for 20. Worcestershire are all out for 337, which means Gloucestershire require 194 for victory.
11:37am - Middlesex look likely to be celebrating victory prior to lunch. For the third time today, a Sussex batsman edges behind; this time James Anyon is the man to depart at the hands of Murtagh. Wright is 159 not out, but Sussex are only 41 in front as Monty Panesar walks in.
11:30am - Leach is out for 114, which represents a huge boost to Gloucestershire. Tom Smith was the man to make the breakthrough and Worcestershire's lead stands at 177 as last man Alan Richardson joins Cessford.
Things go from bad to worse for Leicestershire as Joe Burns falls to Tymal Mills without addition to the score.
11:22am - Greg Smith now boasts figures of 3-10 at Chelmsford. The Essex all-rounder's latest victim is Shiv Thakor, who has gone for three to leave struggling Leicestershire 62 for four.
11:16am - Two in two overs for Middlesex! Steve Magoffin provides another catch for wicketkeeper John Simpson, this time off former Sussex seamer Corey Collymore.
Championship debutant Graeme Cessford is providing valuable tail-end support to Leach at Cheltenham. Their ninth-wicket stand is now worth 34.
11:09am -Middlesex are first to strike! Tim Murtagh has Chris Jordan caught behind for two and Sussex are seven down with a lead of just 25 despite the admirable efforts of Wright.
11:03am - Play has begun at Hove, Cheltenham and Chelsmford. Who will be first to claim a wicket out of Middlesex, Gloucestershire and Essex?
10:53am - Worcestershire's Leach is 101 not out, having recorded his maiden first-class century at a very timely juncture for the Pears. Gloucestershire remain favourites in that encounter, however, and will be keen to claim two quick wickets this morning to finish off the Worcestershire second innings.
At Chelmsford, Leicestershire are very much up against it and need a further 109 just to make Essex, for whom Jaik Mickleburgh cracked 243 yesterday, bat again.
10:40am - Wright's performance on day three at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground was particularly outstanding. Having struck a match-saving 187 in the reverse fixture against Middlesex earlier this summer, he is once again doing his best to dig Sussex out of a large hole and will resume shortly with 151 to his name.
We also have a solitary Friends Life t20 fixture today. Warwickshire Bears welcome Northants Steelbacks to Edgbaston and that game is scheduled get under way at 1pm.
10:30am - Morning all. Yesterday was a day of fightbacks in the LV= County Championship. Unbeaten hundreds from Luke Wright and Joe Leach have given Sussex and Worcestershire hope heading into day four of their respective games.
Leicestershire, meanwhile, could do with a centurion of their own as they aim to stave off defeat at Chelmsford.
