5.21pm - Hampshire are another side in control after their second-innings 339 leaves Warwickshire requiring 379 to kick-off their campaign on a high. Boyd Rankin, who took six wickets in the first innings, manages just one in the second, ending tail-ender James Tomlinson's innings of 111.
5.16pm - Derbyshire finally take the final Lancashire wicket, with the score on 345, to set up a run-chase of 365. Davies, with a career-best 89, is caught at long-off off Wes Durston. The Red Rose will be favourites to claim a victory in Ashley Giles' first game in charge now.
Davies and Jarvis have set a new 10th-wicket partnership record for Lancs v Derby in fc matches, 85 it is now. 330-9. #DERvLAN

5.01pm - Worcestershire need 247 to win after dismissing Sussex for 290. Senanayake has been a revelation since tea. The spinner bowls Ajmal Shahzad for 35 to complete figures of 4-50.
Ervine and Briggs lose their wickets in consecutive balls from Chris Wright. The pair's stand was 61 in just 11 overs. That shows Hampshire were in a rush!
Glamorgan's Craig Meschede and Lancashire's Davies reach half-centuries.
A boundary and a single from Brendan Taylor take Notts in to the lead, score on 14-0 #NottsvYorks
— Nottinghamshire CCC (@TrentBridge) April 21, 2015
4.45pm - Ervine reaches a century at Edgbaston, off 139 balls, to lift Hampshire to a lead of 346. Will they declare and have a dart at Warwickshire this evening?
A half-century stand between last pair Kyle Jarvis and Alex Davies is frustrating Derbyshire at the 3aaa County Ground. Lancashire are 295 for nine, 314 ahead.
4.41pm - Tymal Mills, who left the field with a back problem yesterday, is fit enough to bat but his innings does not last long. He becomes a third victim for Senanayake, caught at backward short-leg.
Glamorgan 344-8..Cosker 15*, Meschede 35*
— Surrey Cricket (@surreycricket) April 21, 2015
4.32pm - Senanayake has another and if Worcestershire can finish off the Sussex tail, they will fancy their chances. Former Pear Steve Magoffin goes cheaply, with the score 257 for eight, a lead of 213.
Danny Briggs and Sean Ervine are extending Hampshire's lead, which is 334, at a quick rate now.
4.26pm - Nottinghamshire have been in the field for more than 146 overs and that is starting to show as Harry Gurney is forced to walk off midway through a set of six, replaced in the attack by Steven Mullaney. However, they dismiss Yorkshire for 441, a lead of 13, when Samit Patel traps Matthew Fisher lbw.
Wicket: Brooks tries to flick Gurney through the off side but can only find Gidman at point to fall for 5, Yorkshire 438-9 #NottsvYorks
— Nottinghamshire CCC (@TrentBridge) April 21, 2015
4.15pm - Sussex, with a lead of 191, lose a seventh wicket versus Worcestershire. Ashar Zaidi falls to Sri Lankan spinner Sachithra Senanayake for 16.
Hampshire's advantage is 102 more than Sussex's at Edgbaston. Gareth Berg becomes Keith Barker's second victim, leaving the score at 254 for seven.
Lancashire, leading by 264, are nine down as Wes Durston bowls Tom Bailey a ball before Tony Palladino dismisses Simon Kerrigan. A tense fourth innings could be in store at the 3aaa County Ground if Derbyshire secure this final wicket.
#PLAY : Durston to bowl first up after Tea. Lancashire resume on 242-7, and lead by 261 #DERvLAN #P2bD

3.45pm - As the rest of the games take a break for tea, why not read how Essex secured a five-wicket win over Kent earlier in the day?
3.35pm - ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Nottinghamshire (428) v Yorkshire (427/8) at Trent Bridge: Special innings for Leaning ended by a special stumping by Chris Read. Sharp turn and bounce to beat outside edge from Samit Patel, Read took it by his shoulder and brought it down super quick before Leaning could get back to his crease. Yorkshire now 427-8, just one behind.
Sussex's Ben Brown can't quite make it through to the break as he is cleaned up by Jack Shantry for 44.
Ten minutes until tea at Hove. Sussex 229/5, a lead of 185 runs #GOSBTS
— Sussex CCC (@SussexCCC) April 21, 2015
3.08pm - Batty gets another, David Lloyd the man to go shortly after Mark Wallace passed his 47th first-class fifty. However, the veteran left-hander is also on his way with 20-year-old Tom Curran inducing a nick behind.
Bresnan has helped Yorkshire get closer to Nottinghamshire's first-innings total but has gone for 34. Can the champions post enough to have a good crack at the hosts later on?
Glamorgan 292-6..Wallace 50*, Lloyd 4*
— Surrey Cricket (@surreycricket) April 21, 2015
2.49pm - Big, big wicket at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground, and it's Kervezee again! He has dismissed Ed Joyce for 82 and Worcestershire may be sniffing an opportunity.
There's a sixth for Taylor, who is on course to better his career-best figures. It's Prince that has fallen, just three shy of his century with Lancashire effectively 233 for seven. Finely poised.
Blow for Hampshire, however, as Carberry's knock comes to an end on 81 with Rikki Clarke rearranging his furniture.
Jack Leaning goes to his first Championship hundred with a single off Steven Mullaney, Yorkshire 398-6 #NottsvYorks
— Nottinghamshire CCC (@TrentBridge) April 21, 2015
2.43pm - ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Nottinghamshire (428) v Yorkshire (398/6) at Trent Bridge: Jack Leaning completes an excellent century for Yorkshire, from 156 balls. Must have been nervous on 99, having fallen for that score in his previous career best against Sussex at Arundel last summer. Yorkshire now 399 for six, with Bresnan counter-attacking effectively.
2.38pm - Tom Taylor has five at Derby! Lancashire captain Tom Smith is the man to go, and the game has possibly tilted in Derbyshire's balance once again.
Sean Ervine has been the man to join forces with Michael Carberry and he's reached his fifty, but Hampshire will want a bit more from the pair.
@JackLeaning1 pulls and cuts @Mull05 for 4s and is now 97 not out.....................................
— Yorkshire CCC (@Yorkshireccc) April 21, 2015
2.28pm - Right on cue, Steven Croft is well caught by Wes Durston for 70, but Ashwell Prince is advancing steadily towards yet another hundred.
Surrey keep chipping away at the Glamorgan line-up - could there yet be a result in Wales? Graham Wagg is bowled by Gareth Batty with the ball starting to turn and a further 152 runs needed to avoid the follow-on.
A captains knock gets @EssexCricket over the line helped by @jamieporter93 with his wall like defence. Great win for the #Eagles
— Graham Napier (@Graham_Napier) April 21, 2015
2.21pm - It's been a great effort from Lancashire to get the lead up to 220 with just four wickets down after they looked up against it last night.
2.12pm - ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Nottinghamshire (428) v Yorkshire (353/6) at Trent Bridge: Two quick wickets for Vernon Philander, bowling from the Pavilion End, have refreshed Nottinghamshire’s hopes of putting the champions under pressure. Pyrah miscued a leg-side jab to mid-on where Steven Mullaney kept his cool under a high catch, and Andrew Hodd has just chopped on. So Yorkshire are now 353 for six, 75 behind, as Tim Bresnan joins Leaning, who has 82.
2.06pm - Alexei Kervezee has another! That's only his fourth first-class wicket, two of which have been today! Luke Wright is the man after a positive knock of 21, but Sussex's lead is a slender one.
Wicket: Philander has the breakthrough, bouncing out Pyrah for 37, Yorkshire 346-5 #NottsvYorks
— Nottinghamshire CCC (@TrentBridge) April 21, 2015
1.56pm - ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Nottinghamshire (428) v Yorkshire (341/4) at Trent Bridge: Fourth over after lunch and Jack Leaning dances down the pitch to hit Samit Patel over long-on for six to bring up the 100 stand with Richard Pyrah, Yorkshire now 343 for four.
1.45pm - RESULT! Essex (164 & 193/5) beat Kent (193 & 163) by five wickets - Well, that was a quick finish! It took just nine deliveries after lunch for James Foster and Jesse Ryder to get them over the line.
1.43pm - It's a great start for Worcestershire after the break, with Charlie Morris, who bowled without luck this morning, dismissing Craig Cachopa for a duck.

1.10pm - As promised, here is the state-of-play of the six games at lunch:
Division One
Yorkshire recovered from the early loss of Andrew Gale to reach 322 for four against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge, with a deficit of just 106 thanks to an unbeaten half-century from Jack Leaning.
Ed Joyce and Matt Machan added 119 in the morning session to leave Sussex well-placed on 131 for two , with a lead of 87 over Worcestershire at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground..
Michael Carberry ensured Hampshire were building a sizeable lead over Warwickshire , despite the best efforts of Jeetan Patel. Hampshire went into the break on 119 for five.
Division Two
Three wickets for Surrey put them in a good position against Glamorgan at the SWALEC Stadium. Colin Ingram fell for 56 to leave the hosts five down for 210 , still 353 runs behind.
James Foster’s unbeaten half-century put Essex in pole position to beat Kent , with nightwatchman Jamie Porter adding a crucial 14 to leave them needing just 23 runs to win .
Lancashire recovered from the early loss of Alviro Petersen to 144 for four at lunch, with Ashwell Prince and Steven Croft combining for the fifth wicket versus Derbyshire .
Tough morning session for Hampshire, but Carberry (55*) and Ervine (6*) have led the visitors to lunch on 119-5. pic.twitter.com/ZdFddZWYPX

1pm - ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Nottinghamshire (428) v Yorkshire (322/4) at Trent Bridge: A good session for Yorkshire after the early loss of their captain. Leaning has batted through the session to reach 65, and Pyrah is again underlining his all-round value with 29, and at 322 for four, they are now only 106 runs behind Nottinghamshire, whose are suffering frustration for the second consecutive Championship innings after they were denied by Middlesex at Lord’s last week.
We will round up the rest of this morning's scores for you shortly.
12.50pm - Foster brings up an invaluable half-century for Essex, who look to be firmly in control of their chase.
The part-time spin of Alexei Kervezee has accounted for the dangerous Machan, who had reached 55 before being adjudged lbw.
37.2: Prince pulls Thakor for four to bring up his half-century. Lancashire 124-4; Prince 52*, Croft 38*. Lead is 143 #DERvLAN #P2bD
— Derbyshire CCC (@DerbyshireCCC) April 21, 2015
12.45pm - Ingram follows Cooke back to the pavilion after hitting Tom Curran to cover. A handy double-strike before lunch for Surrey.
12.37pm - A superb piece of fielding and a direct-hit from Zafar Ansari in the deep sees Chris Cooke short of his ground as Surrey make another handy breakthrough, but there's another blow for Hampshire as Adam Wheater falls. Can anyone stay with Michael Carberry?
Could the game at the Essex County Ground be set for another twist?
WICKET! Jamie Porter is bowled off his helmet by Matt Coles for 14 to end a stand of 66 with James Foster.132-5, 61 needed to win. #EssvKen
— Essex Cricket (@EssexCricket) April 21, 2015
12.26pm - Matt Machan has been somewhat becalmed today compared to his astonishing assault on Sunday , but his partner Joyce has progressed through to fifty and looks in ominous touch.
There are also fifties for Leaning and Colin Ingram, of Yorkshire and Glamorgan respectively, while Lancashire are making steady progress after the early blow of losing Alviro Petersen.
12.11pm - Will Smith is Jeetan Patel's first wicket of the season, which leaves the game very finely balanced at Edgbaston with Hampshire just 125 runs ahead in their second innings.
Essex are inching towards their target, with Foster bringing up a half-century partnership with Porter. The nightwatchman has contributed just a single...
The Lancs lead is now 103 at 84-4. #DERvLAN
— Lancashire CCC (@LancsCCC) April 21, 2015
11.54am - Porter has been put down by Matt Coles at second slip. It is going to be a tense afternoon at the Essex County Ground.
Will Bragg has been bowled by Matt Dunn to leave Glamorgan 160 for three. There is a long way to go before they even avoid the follow-on in Cardiff.
8 - All eight of Harry Gurney's @LV_Cricket wickets this season have been top six batsmen. Scalps. @TrentBridge
— OptaJim (@OptaJim) April 21, 2015
11.47am - Sussex have erased the deficit against Worcestershire as Joyce drives through extra-cover for four.
Essex have edged past 100 in their chase. James Foster has been fairly fluent this morning with 23 from 36 balls since he replaced the early-departing Lawrence. Nightwatchman Jamie Porter is doing a blanketing job at the other end with four from 58 balls. That will do for Essex who are in no hurry.
Hampshire have lost two quick wickets at Edgbaston - Clarke has dismissed Dawson (27) & Vince (0). Hants are now 58-3, a lead of 97 runs.
— Hampshire Cricket (@hantscricket) April 21, 2015
11.23am - ecb.co.uk's Andy Wilson at Nottinghamshire (428) v Yorkshire (235/4) at Trent Bridge: Early strike for Notts, and Harry Gurney, in the Trent Bridge sunshine as Yorkshire captain Andrew Gale edges an on-drive, and Riki Wessels takes a terrific low catch to his right at first slip. Yorkshire now 235 for four, 193 behind. Richard Pyrah joins Jack Leaning at the crease.
15.3: #WICKET ! Massive wicket! @TomTaylor43 traps Petersen lbw for 9! Lancashire 43-4; Prince 9* #DERvLAN #P2bD pic.twitter.com/j395RA2jWL
— Derbyshire CCC (@DerbyshireCCC) April 21, 2015
11.10am - Ed Joyce responds to that early wicket by pulling Jack Shantry over the square-leg rope.
11.05am - Ramp up the tension because we have an early wicket at Chelmsford. Mitchell Claydon removes the 17-year-old Daniel Lawrence to a catch at short-leg. Essex have not added to their overnight total.
Sussex are one down at Hove as Charles Morris finds Luke Wells' edge and Alex Gidman snaps up a good catch at first slip.
10.50am - Most of the intrigue this morning will centre on Chelmsford where Essex resume needing 127 more runs with seven wickets in hand. Sound easy? Well not quite. The victory target of 193 would represent the biggest total of a low-scoring contest.
#BuildUp : Players warming up ahead of today's play. Lancashire will resume on 36-3 #DERvLAN #P2bD pic.twitter.com/6P3w8sY6mk
— Derbyshire CCC (@DerbyshireCCC) April 21, 2015
Division One
Yorkshire will need to bat deep into the day as they begin at 226 for three but still trailing Nottinghamshire by 202 runs at Trent Bridge.
Sussex are eight without loss as they look to eat away at Worcestershire's 44-run first-innings lead that was set up by Richard Oliver's second first-class century.
Hampshire hold a 73-run advantage at the halfway stage of their Edgbaston contest against Warwickshire , who fought back yesterday on the back of a Tim Ambrose century. The visitors resume this morning on 38 for one .
Division Two
Glamorgan face a long haul just to avoid the follow-on against Surrey as they begin the day on 124 for two yet still need a further 289 runs to avoid being asked to bat again at the SWALEC Stadium.
There will be an early result at the Essex County Ground where the hosts are chasing a victory target of 193 against Kent . Late wickets last night mean the contest is finely posied with Essex 66 for three.
Derbyshire hit back with the ball late last night to leave Lancashire 36 for three after the visitors had claimed a 19-run first-innings lead at th 3aa County Ground.
258 - Since the start of 2010 @AndreAdams (258) has taken more @LV_Cricket Division One wickets than anyone else. Nous. @hantscricket
