Aaron Finch will link up with Yorkshire next month, despite his hamstring injury, but the White Rose may have to wait until at least then for Ryan Sidebottom’s services after he suffered a calf problem this week.
World Cup-winner Finch, who played for Yorkshire last year, picked up his injury on Tuesday while on Indian Premier League duty for Mumbai Indians and expects to miss the rest of the Twenty20 tournament.
Looks like I'll be out of the rest of @IPL at this stage! The scan showed a bit of damage, absolutely shattered!

The powerful, top-order batsman was already set to join the White Rose after his IPL stint, so there is little change to his arrival time, although it remains to be seen when he will be available to play for the county.
Yorkshire director of cricket Martyn Moxon said: “We remain hopeful that Aaron will be with Yorkshire at some stage in May.
“It is disappointing news for him and a great shame that he’ll miss most of the IPL season.
“We look forward to welcoming him to Headingley at some stage next month and that he will be fit and ready to play in the LV= County Championship and the NatWest T20 Blast competitions respectively.”
Left-arm seamer Sidebottom, a key member of last season’s Championship-winning team, is set to have a scan in the next 48 hours on the calf injury he sustained in this week's defeat of Worcestershire.
“Siddy is likely to be missing for several weeks,” added Moxon.
“He is set to have a scan in the next day or so and once we have the results back we will have a better indication of how long he’ll be missing.
“It is a great shame for him. He has been one of our most consistent performers over the past few years. It will mean that one of our squad players will come in and take on the responsibility of being one of our main strike bowlers.”
