5.02pm - RESULT! Northamptonshire (333 & 416/8d) draw with Gloucestershire (296 & 267/2) - Somewhat inevitably, the captains have shaken hands on a draw, and Dent ends unbeaten on 104.
4.47pm - It's been a very patient knock for Chris Dent, but it's all worth it as he brings up three figures at Wantage Road. That game looks to be heading for a draw, but there's another breakthrough for Notts as Samit Patel gets a seveth wicket.
4.29pm - Big, big wicket at Lord's. Voges has finally gone after making a fluent 72 and that could pave the way for the Nottinghamshire bowlers. 253 for six now.
4.15pm - Big blow for Leicestershire after tea. They had regrouped, but Angus Robson has fallen to Dean Cosker for 18 to leave them three down. Can Glamorgan force a result?
Tea is being taken with Leicestershire 34-2 at tea. A minimum of 36 overs remaining

3.33pm - Another big breakthrough at Lord's, but it's not Voges. Simpson is cleaned up by Jake Ball for 11, and that's just four wickets left for Nottinghamshire to take.
3.28pm - Big breakthrough for Northants as Rob Keogh traps Roderick in front for 52, and Keogh's sixth first-class wicket. Eight wickets and 236 runs needed, draw anyone?
3.16pm - Roderick follows Voges in bringing up a half-century. He's enjoyed a good game for Gloucestershire, making it a brace of fifties to go with six first innings catches.
50 for Adam Voges, Middlesex on 208-4 with the new ball available next over #MiddxvNotts

2.55pm - Gloucestershire have passed the 200 mark in pursuit of a notional target of 451. Gareth Roderick and Chris Dent are going well at Wantage Road.
2.46pm - It's not a good start for Leicestershire. Dan Redfearn and first innings centurion Ned Eckersley have fallen in the opening seven balls to leave the Foxes one for two. Could the wounds of a barren couple of years be about to re-open?
Well that was fun! Great finish to the week at the Rose Bowl! Fantastic start to the season for us. #engines#bowlerspic.twitter.com/PYlv4Atbqk

2.33pm - Glamorgan have declared on 227 for seven, setting Leicestershire a target of 306 to win in around 50 overs.
2.24pm - Big blow for Middlesex as Nick Compton's vigil comes to an end. He has been caught at slip with Harry Gurney taking the prized scalp. There will be no Dawid Malan remember, so Nottinghamshire are just six wickets from victory.
Paul Stirling is gone first ball and Gurney is on a hat-trick...but John Simpson keeps it out.
Next over Wagg edges into the keeper's gloves as O'Brien claims his 9th catch of the match. Glam 179/7 leading by 257 runs.

Cooke holes out to mid-off for 81. Glam 179/5 leading by 257 runs.

1.51pm – We’re back under way after the break. Nothing much to report yet in the afternoon session.
1.03pm – It’s lunch around the grounds; here is what is going on up and down the country:
Division One
Matt Hobden and Luke Wells took two wickets each this morning as Sussex secured a 92-run victory over neighbouring Hampshire .
Middlesex pair Nick Compton and Nick Gubbins frustrated Nottinghamshire’s bowlers until the latter was dismissed with the last ball of the morning session by Samit Patel to leave the hosts 132 for two in pursuit of 519 at Lord’s.
Division Two
Leicestershire took a couple of early wickets, but a half-century from Chris Cooke looks to have helped Glamorgan avoid defeat as they reached 155 for five , a lead of 233.
Northamptonshire managed only one wicket in the morning session as Gloucestershire moved onto 114 for one , needing another 310 runs to secure an unlikely victory.
WICKET & LUNCH - Middx 132-2. Gubbins c Wessels (inside edge to short leg) b Patel 37. Compton 63*. #teammiddlesex#midvnot#batted

12.56pm – RESULT! Sussex (444 & 164) beat Hampshire (231 & 285) by 92 runs– Wells bowls Tomlinson as Sussex make a winning start to the season despite Hampshire fighting back well after their opponents refused to enforce the follow-on. Ben Brown’s unbeaten ton in the first innings and a pair of half-centuries for Luke Wright ultimately proved to be the difference.
12.54pm – Muhammad Azhar Ullah finally earns a breakthrough for Northamptonshire, as Tavare is bowled for 66. At Grace Road, Cooke reaches his fifty.
12.46pm – The game is just about up for Hampshire, as Steve Magoffin induces an edge from Chris Wood, who made 30. Only Danny Briggs and James Tomlinson stand between Sussex and a winning start to the season.
12.35pm – Compton scrambles a single off Will Gidman to bring up his first half-century in a Middlesex shirt since returning to the club. Glamorgan’s Chris Cooke also has fifty in his sights as they look to make the game safe against Leicestershire.
WICKET..Wells strikes with his first ball! Ervine goes for 42 and Hampshire are 244 for 8 now requiring another 134 #GOSBTS

12.20pm – Chris Dent and Will Tavare both reach individual fifties as Gloucestershire pass the 100-run mark. Are they going to have a serious crack at chasing down 454?
12.09pm – Wallace adds a 10,001st first-class run, but then departs for eight as Ben Raine gives O’Brien an eighth catch of the match. Compton and Gubbins bring up their century partnership, but Middlesex still have work to do to save the game.
Congratulations to @MarkWallace18 on a fantastic achievement! #GoGlam pic.twitter.com/2hcmH2PhdR

12.01pm – Ervine and Berg were just threatening to give Hampshire a sniff, but Ajmal Shahzad snares his third wicket of the innings as Berg is held by Luke Wright for 14 – Sussex are now just three wickets from victory.
11.53am – Chris Cooke and Mark Wallace have steered Glamorgan past 100 in their second innings, a lead of 178. A single off Charlie Shreck gives Wallace his 10,000th first-class run.
WICKET | Freckingham into the attack and strikes with his first ball, Ingram nicking to O'Brien. 83-4
— Leicestershire CCC (@leicsccc) April 15, 2015
11.37am – Sean Ervine and debutant Gareth Berg have restored a measure of calm for Hampshire as they take the score past 200, but there is still a long way to go for the hosts at the Ageas Bowl. At Lord’s, Nicks Gubbins and Compton are providing stout resistance as they close in on a 100-run second-wicket partnership.
11.21am – Hobden strikes again in his next over, this time removing Adam Wheater for 12. Sussex are looking to wrap this one up early.
11.10am – The first wicket of the morning falls, and it’s a big one for Sussex as Matt Hobden has Will Smith caught behind for 23. Hampshire had added just one run to their overnight total, so need another 196 with only five wickets remaining.
11.05am – All four matches are up and running, with Gloucestershire, Middlesex and Hampshire all facing daunting run chases. At Grace Road, Glamorgan and Leicestershire look to be headed for a draw barring an aggressive declaration.
Glorious day for cricket . Play to start in a few minutes. Lets hope for a home win. #cricketseason pic.twitter.com/M04uF4mIMT

10.45am - Good morning, and welcome to the fourth and final day of the opening round of LV= County Championship matches. There are four games still in progress after wins yesterday for Durham and Yorkshire , but can anyone else get over the line today?
He might have a funny Twitter handle but there was nothing jokey about @BrooksyFerret 's bowling this week https://t.co/TJkdg0vOSm

Division One

Chris Rushworth claimed his 200th first-class wicket as Durham completed a comprehensive seven-wicket win over Somerset .

Nottinghamshire are also looking to kick-off their campaign with a win after reducing Middlesex to 57 for one in pursuit of a notional 519.
Division Two
Gloucestershire reached 35 without loss at stumps but still require another 419 runs for victory against Northamptonshire , who set an imposing target on the back of David Willey’s maiden first-class century.
Glamorgan were 47 for three at stumps against Leicestershire , a lead of 125, after Ned Eckersley equalled his career-best score of 147 for the hosts at Grace Road.
