Uncapped duo Shai Hope and Carlos Brathwaite have been included in a 14-man West Indies squad for the first Test against England.
Six names from the Windies’ first training camp under new coach Phil Simmons, who began work last week.
Sheldon Cottrell, Miguel Cummins, Shane Dowrich, Shannon Gabriel, Leon Johnson and Veerasammy Permaul have all been stood down for the opening game of the three-match series that starts in Antigua on Monday.
But 21-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman Hope and paceman Brathwaite have both been retained.
Leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo, who played the most recent of his 11 Tests three years ago, has also been handed a recall.
Denesh Ramdin will continue to skipper the side, with Kraigg Brathwaite as his deputy.
