Jack Shantry started the season in sensational form as his stunning match figures of 10-26 led Worcestershire to a crushing innings-and-20-run victory over Oxford MCCU at the Parks.
The left-arm seamer took 5-8, to add to his first-innings 5-18, as Oxford were dismissed for just 95 in their second knock, Charlie Morris also returning 4-17.
Daryl Mitchell and Tom Kohler-Cadmore made half-centuries, the latter’s unbeaten, to allow the visitors to declare on 339 for six.
The other five matches around the country all ended in draws as a result of the wet weather.
Hampshire skipper Jimmy Adams fell two runs short of a century against Loughborough MCCU at the Ageas Bowl.
Resuming on 88 for three, Loughborough were dismissed for 149 inside 48 overs, Liam Dawson taking 3-3 in two overs of his off-spin.

Adams fell for 98, lbw to Nitish Kumar, in a Hampshire second-innings total of 236 for four declared that included an unbeaten 52 for Chris Wood.
Johann Myburgh extended his overnight 115 to 150 as Somerset enjoyed the better of the final day versus Durham MCCU at Taunton.
The hosts called time on their first innings on 354 for three after former Durham player Myburgh shared an unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 92 with Jim Allenby, a winter signing from Glamorgan who made an unbeaten 54.
Durham skipper Cameron Steel contributed 80 to his side’s 129 for seven when the captains shook hands, Lewis Gregory leading the way with 3-37.
Chris Cooke retired on 112 and Craig Meschede took three wickets on Glamorgan debut at the SWALEC Stadium.
Glamorgan declared on 434 for seven courtesy of Cooke’s heroics, the right-hander adding 46 to his overnight 66 today.

Meschede, on loan from Somerset, then returned figures of 3-18 to limit Cardiff MCCU to 110 for eight in their first innings.
Another player in the wickets on his bow was Sussex’sAjmal Shahzad at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground.
The ex-Nottinghamshire seamer matched the evergreen Steve Magoffin in taking four wickets, the latter conceding just 17 to Shahzad’s 50.
Leeds/Bradford MCCU started the day on 27 without loss and their total of 176 for nine at the close was boosted by 59 from Christian Davis.
No play was possible on the final day at Fenner’s, where Cambridge MCCU were 82 for three in reply to Northamptonshire’s 357 for seven declared.
