Lancashire have been shortlisted for a Fan Experience Award at the Stadium Business Awards held in Barcelona later this year.
The Red Rose’s Fan Village, which included live music and entertainment, at Emirates Old Trafford during last season’s NatWest T20 Blast campaign has been recognised.
Chief executive Daniel Gidney said: “We placed a lot of emphasis on improving the customer experience at Emirates Old Trafford during last’s year’s NatWest T20 Blast competition.

“We wanted to ensure that the entertainment off the field was as highly engaging as the action out in the middle.
“We had live bands including Reverend and the Makers, activities for all the family and plenty of food and drink options, plus our special After Blast area which ensured the fun continued long after the cricket had finished.
“We were pleased to record a 67 per cent increase in total attendance for 2014 and we will be bringing more of the same this summer at Emirates Old Trafford.”
