Somerset have signed big-hitting New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson for the second half of this season's NatWest T20 Blast.
Anderson was holder of the record for the fastest one-day international century, until his feat in 36 balls against West Indies in Queenstown last year was broken by South Africa's AB de Villiers.
Currently involved in the World Cup, the 24-year-old said: "I have always wanted to play domestic cricket in England, so I am very pleased to have signed to play T20 cricket for Somerset."
Somerset director of cricket Matthew Maynard added: "I am absolutely delighted Corey is able to join us straight after the New Zealand tour to England concludes.
"Sohail Tanvir will play the first half of the T20 competition, and Corey will be playing with us from game eight through to game 14 - after which he goes off with New Zealand on another tour."
