3:37pm - It is still raining at the home of Somerset. It is looking increasingly likely that no domestic action will take place today.
England, meanwhile, have wrapped up victory in the second Investec Test. Huzzah!
2:45pm - Still no further news from Taunton, where Somerset and Yorkshire have faced a similarly soggy scene today.
However, there is a positive update on proceedings at Headingley. The second Investec Test is set to recommence at 3pm.
2:07pm - Play has been abandoned for the day at New Road without a ball bowled. Worcestershire and Essex will return tomorrow to try again.

12:30pm - Still no sign of any LV=CC play I'm afraid, and the teams have just been taken from the field at Headingley with England needing two more wickets from victory.
11:45am - Our wait for county action is set to continue for a while yet, but play has just begun at Headingley on day five of the second Investec Test.

10:55am - In the absence of Overton, fellow injury victims Alfonso Thomas and Criag Kieswetter, and international trio Jos Buttler, Nick Compton and Alviro Petersen, Somerset have named a much-changed squad. Craig Meschede and Gemaal Hussain are set to feature, along with Dean Elgar, the overseas replacement for Petersen.
Yorkshire could hand a debut to academy seamer Ben Coad as Liam Plunkett is sidelined by a thigh strain.

10:42am - Play is not scheduled to begin at Taunton until 12pm, as Yorkshire were involved in a Yorkshire Bank 40 game at Radlett yesterday.
There will be no Craig Overton in Somerset’s side. The young all-rounder has been ruled out for the season with a stress fracture in his lower back.
Rain has delayed the start at New Road.
10:30am - Morning all. We have two LV= County Championship matches starting today. Somerset host Yorkshire in a Division One clash at Taunton, while - in the second tier - Worcestershire and Essex are set to do battle at New Road.
