12:30pm - Dernbach dismisses Andre Adams for 16 and therefore Notts, who lead by 212 on first innings, for 410.

12:24pm - Keaton Jennings, who fell seven short of three figures earlier in the game, makes a century. Durham are 273 for four, 413 in front of Derbyshire.

Glamorgan lose two quick wickets, Rees going to David Balcombe for 112 and Murray Goodwin to Sohail Tanvir for 86. They added 182 together. The Welsh County are 266 for five, 27 behind Hampshire.

Barker gets rid of Toby Roland-Jones, putting Middlesex eight down.

12:12pm - Surrey strike in two consecutive overs to make Notts 392 for nine, Dernbach having Graeme White caught behind for nought and Zafar Ansari snaring Ajmal Shahzad caught and bowled for 17.

Sussex lose Luke Wells but need just 51 more to beat Somerset with nine wickets left.

Warwickshire spinner Patel sends Ollie Rayner on his way, Dan Housego becomes Haggett’s second scalp and Lancashire’s Gareth Cross departs to David Willey.

12:01pm - Dernbach removes Patel for 110 and Clare makes Ben Stokes his second scalp of the morning.

11:51am - Andrew Hall has Luke Procter caught behind for 85, leaving Lancashire 291 for five and 19 behind Northamptonshire in the clash between the second tier’s top two.

11:43am - Jeetan Patel traps John Simpson in front for 63, ending a Middlesex record fifth-wicket stand versus Warwickshire worth 180. The Uxbridge hosts are 208 for five, trailing by 278. Shortly after, Adam Voges reaches a hundred on Middlesex first-class debut but Gareth Berg is then caught behind first ball off Keith Barker.

Durham lose Will Smith for 23 to Jonathan Clare but are well-placed at 238 for three in their second innings, 378 ahead of Derbyshire.

Gloucestershire captain Michael Klinger falls to Calum Haggett for 20, soon after which the hosts reach 50 for one versus Kent.

11:35am - Samit Patel raises a century with a four through cover off Jade Dernbach, taking Nottinghamshire’s first-innings lead over Surrey to 180 with four wickets intact.

11:25am -Somerset are all out for 209, setting Sussex a meagre 91 to win. Chris Jordan had Peter Trego caught behind for 16 and Magoffin bowled Jamie Overton for figures of 4-36 while James Anyon, who did not bowl today, took 4-56.

Gareth Rees, on 84 overnight and making his first senior appearance of the season for Glamorgan, goes to three figures with a four off Danny Briggs.

 

11:05am - Sussex take another step towards beating Somerset, who lead by just 79 in their second innings while now eight wickets down, at Taunton with Steve Magoffin ousting Alfonso Thomas.

11am - Of course, many will be focusing on the first Investec Ashes Test, but take heart county fans that you can keep on top of the championship action here.

10:55am - With play set to begin in five minutes, here’s how the continuing matches stand:

Division One

Durham are 208 for two in their second innings against Derbyshire at the Emirates Durham ICG, a lead of 348.

Somerset are 197 for seven in their second innings at Taunton, 78 runs ahead of Sussex.

Middlesex are 177 for four in response to Warwickshire’s 486 for six declared at Uxbridge.

Nottinghamshire are 360 for six after Surrey were dismissed for 198 at the Kia Oval.

Division Two

Glamorgan reached 196 for three at the SWALEC Stadium after bowling Hampshire out for 341.

Lancashire are 262 for four responding to Northamptonshire's 310 at Wantage Road.
