England women are working relentlessly in New Zealand on the training field and in the gym as they prepare to face the White Ferns.
Charlotte Edwards’ tourists had their second day of training today, with a cricket session in the morning followed by a strength session in the afternoon.

They trained initially at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, the venue for their first three one-day internationals which count towards World Cup qualification.
Off-spinner Danielle Hazell told ecb.co.uk:“Today is obviously our second day of training, is just about getting some cobwebs out of the legs and having a good bat and a bowl.
“It’s the ground we’re going to play at the next three games so it’s good to get used to surroundings and the area.”
The gym time was let by Ian Durrant, England women’s Strength and Conditioning Coach, who said: “The girls have worked really hard on their strength over the winter and actually it’s a case now of continuing that work throughout the tour.
“We’re always striving to get better so the gym is one of those areas where we continue to improve and keep that going through the tour.”
England play their opening ODI on Wednesday. The first three ODIs are followed by three Twenty20 internationals and two more ODIs, the latter pair not counting towards the International Cricket Council Women’s Championship.
