James Anderson has moved up to fourth in the International Cricket Council one-day international bowler rankings following several impressive displays during the Tri-Series.

The 32-year-old has risen two places after taking seven wickets in four games in Australia on his return to England colours following a knee problem.

Steven Finn, England’s leading wicket-taker with 11, has progressed to 12th while Ian Bell, who topped the Tri-Series run-charts with 247, has jumped 13 places to 25th in the batsmen standings.

Meanwhile, Australia will begin the World Cup at the top of the ODI rankings after winning all five of their completed Tri-Series fixtures. England are currently fifth.
