Middlesex have handed youngsters Max Holden, George Scott and Robbie White summer contracts from 2015.
The trio have all signed deals that will keep them tied to the club while they continue their education, meaning they will be available to play and train when available.
Scott, an 18-year-old all-rounder, and White, a 19-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman, have both signed three-year deals that will see them through their university degrees. Sixteen-year-old batsman Holden on the other hand, has a two-year contract while he compeltes his A Levels.
It caps off a good month for Holden, who was also named in the England Development Programme earlier this month.
Managing director of cricket Angus Fraser said: “Middlesex CCC hope to announce the completion of a number of high profile signings in the next few weeks but the deals with George, Max and Robbie are of equal, if not greater importance.
"As a club we want to continue to find and develop young cricketers and we are excited by the young talent that is in our system.
“All three played for Middlesex CCC Second XI in 2014 and performed well, showing what potential they have. Hopefully this will be the start of long, enjoyable and successful relationships between George, Max, Robbie and Middlesex CCC.”
“I would like to congratulate and thank Alan Coleman and Rory Coutts, Middlesex CCC’s academy director and assistant academy director, for the time and excellent work they have put in to developing these players. The high quality coaching they perform often slips under the radar but it is vital for Middlesex CCC.”
Proud to have signed first professional contract with @Middlesex_CCC and hope this is the start of a long career with the club!
