South Africa have returned to the top of the International Cricket Council one-day international rankings for the first time in five years.
The Proteas'72-run victory in the second ODI against New Zealand on Friday was enough to see them reclaim top spot, despite the third and final ODI being washed out yesterday.
South Africa were one point behind Australia in the standings before the series in New Zealand and have now done enough to move in front.
The last time South Africa topped the list was in September 2009, but their first-round elimination from the Champions Trophy that year saw Australia overtake them.
