All-rounder Luke Wright has been rewarded for his loyalty to Sussex with a benefit year in 2015.
The 29-year-old, who arrived at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground from Leicestershire in 2004, has enjoyed a huge amount of success at his second county.
Wright was part of the Sussex side that secured the double in 2006, winning the County Championship and 50-over competition, and successfully defended their four-day title the following season.
Last term Wright, who plays limited-overs cricket around the world, clubbed the highest individual score in England domestic Twenty20 cricket, blazing an unbeaten 153 off just 66 deliveries in Sussex Sharks’ victory over the Essex Eagles.
His performances for Sussex were also recognised by England, who he represented in 50 one-day internationals and 51 Twenty20s after making his debuts in both formats in 2007.

Wright, also a World Twenty20 winner with England, said: “I'm absolutely delighted.
“It's a huge honour and when I joined Sussex all those years ago, if I'd have been told I'd be sat here now getting a benefit at the age of 29, I wouldn't have believed it.
“You know that when the club award it to you that you've served the club well.
“Ever since I was capped in 2007 I've been delighted to do well for this club. I've got some great memories, I've won some amazing trophies with some very special players.”
Sussex chairman Jim May added: “Luke Wright has been a truly exciting player for Sussex and a key performer in our one-day success. In recent seasons he has matured into a top-class four-day batsman.
“He is a very popular player with our members as well as the wider cricketing public and we are delighted to award him a benefit for 2015.”
