Gloucestershire have signed young bowlers Liam Norwell, Jack Taylor and Matt Taylor to contracts that will keep them at the club until 2017.
Director of cricket John Bracewell believes the trio can help turn the Gloucestershire attack into the strongest in LV= County Championship Division Two.
“I am absolutely delighted to see three more of our talented young bowlers make long-term commitments to the club,” Bracewell said.
“I believe that they can contribute to a bowling attack, which is getting stronger by the year and can develop into the best in the championship second division next season.”
Norwell, 22, claimed 28 wickets in the championship this season, but perhaps his best moment came when he hit 78 from number 11 against Worcestershire.
It was the highest score by Gloucestershire’s last batsman while he also combined in a 137-run stand with Craig Miles.
Off-spinner Jack Taylor, 22, took 18 limited-overs wickets while his younger brother Matt, a left-armer seamer, grabbed 21 his first season of regular championship cricket.
Matt Taylor’s season was, however, cut short by a shin injury that restricted him to nine games.
