Adam Lyth and Jack Brooks have made giant strides in the LV= County Championship FTI MVP rankings after helping the White Rose win their first title since 2001 this week.
Opening batsman Lyth, the top run-scorer in Division One with 1,428, is up to fourth in the standings after hitting his sixth century of the season in the championship-clinching victory over Nottinghamshire.
Brooks, leading the top-flight wicket-taking charts with 64, is two spots behind Lyth following his six scalps at Trent Bridge.
Lyth, who has also snared five wickets and took 32 catches, has formed a stunning opening partnership with Alex Lees, who has registered 865 runs, while new-ball pair Brooks and Ryan Sidebottom have shared 110 victims.
Veteran left-arm seamer Sidebottom is ranked 18th and Adil Rashid, who has hit over 500 runs and taken 40 wickets, is a further 10 places back.
Jack Shantry is up to 12th after excelling this week, hitting a century and taking 10 wickets to help Worcestershire defeat Surrey and claim promotion to Division One.
Kent all-rounder Darren Stevens continues to sit pretty at the top, though, 18 points above Warwickshire’s Jeetan Patel.
Stevens took his wicket-tally to 52 for the season with figures of 5-83, his sixth five-for of the campaign, in the defeat to promotion-chasing Essex at the Essex County Ground.
