Yorkshire Vikings are without Jonny Bairstow versus Durham Dynamos at Scarborough in one of four Friends Life t20 games tomorrow.

Bairstow played in the Vikings’ tournament opener yesterday evening, a two-wicket loss to Derbyshire Falcons at Headingley, but has joined England’s squad - also featuring White Rose stars Tim Bresnan and Joe Root - for the LV= Challenge match with Essex, which starts tomorrow.

Yorkshire are also missing seamer Iain Wardlaw, who has linked up with Scotland for their one-day series against Kenya.

Durham, who lost at home to Lancashire Lightning by nine runs yesterday, have named an unchanged squad for the North Group game. The Dynamos are missing Graham Onions to England while Gareth Breese is yet to return from injury.

Middlesex Panthers have also announced an unchanged party, following their four-wicket Duckworth/Lewis defeat of Kent Spitfires at Canterbury, to face Sussex Sharks at Lord’s in the South Group.

The Panthers must make do without the injured Eoin Morgan and James Harris plus England squad member Steven Finn. Matt Prior is likewise absent for Sussex, who lost to Surrey by 10 runs yesterday.

Kent and Surrey meet at Canterbury, with the latter missing England’s Kevin Pietersen. Ricky Ponting and Matthew Dunn missed the win over Sussex through injury.

Gloucestershire Gladiators and Worcestershire Royals will seek to respond to opening defeats when they clash at Bristol in the Midlands/Wales/West Group.

The Gladiators went down by 41 runs at Northants Steelbacks without the injured Craig Miles and the Royals suffered a 58-run setback at home to Glamorgan, both in rain-reduced contests.
