9.10pm - Earlier,Durham (237) beat Yorkshire Vikings (206) by 31 runs at Headingley thanks to Mark Stoneman's century and a good all-round display by the evergreen Paul Collingwood.

It's interesting to note that all three sides which have batted first have gone on to win and book their place in the semi-finals. Will the winner of the toss bat first in tomorrow's final quarter-final between Kent Spitfires and Gloucestershire? Join us at 1.30pm to find out.

9pm - RESULT! Warwickshire (271/7) beat Essex Eagles (204) by 67 runs at the Essex County Ground. The Bears have done it again, beating Essex on their own patch to reach the last four of a one-day competition. Oliver Hannon-Dalby took four wickets and Rikki Clarke three to add to his earlier 68 with the bat.

8.50pm - The visitors are getting closer and closer, Tim Phillips the latest man to trudge off after setting off for a second run which Napier didn't feel was on.

8.47pm - Ryder can only add one more run before cutting Hannon-Dalby straight to Varun Chopra at backward point. Surely the match is Warwickshire's now?

8.42pm - Essex are chancing their arm to good effect in the powerplay, Graham Napier hitting one and Ryder clubbing two maximums in the space of eight balls. The latter is within 11 runs of a brilliant ton.

8.25pm - Big moment at the Essex County Ground as the dangerous Ryan ten Doeschate goes lbw to Jeetan Patel for 19 to leave the home side 160 for six. Ryder is in danger of running out of partners.

8.18pm - Ryder is beginning to let loose, taking Ateeq Javid for a four and six in the latest over. Essex require 119 off 16. Although that will still feel a long way away, they should reach their target if Ryder is still there at the end.

7.45pm - Clarke is enjoying a good day. He now has three wickets to add to his earlier 68 after having Foster caught at mid-on off a leading edge.

7.35pm - The 100 is up for Essex in the 23rd over. The longer Ryder, who is on 38, is at the crease, the nervier Warwickshire will become.

7.17pm - Ryder and James Foster have set about rebuilding the Essex innings but they have a big job ahead of them with the Eagles 75 for four off 18.

6.39pm - Essex are in big trouble as Greg Smith plays across a slower ball from Clarke and is castled. Jesse Ryder joins Bopara at the crease with their side 38 for three.

6.33pm - Bopara has played some eye-catching strokes on his way to 15 off 14 balls. Warwickshire will know his is a key wicket.

6.22pm - Tom Westley follows Pettini back to the pavilion after being trapped in front by Rikki Clarke. The Bears are making the ball talk. It has been a dream start by the visitors.

6.18pm - Warwickshire strike early as Mark Pettini edges Oliver Hannon-Dalby behind where Peter McKay takes a comfortable catch. That wicket brings Ravi Bopara to the crease.

6.11pm - Durham will be cock-a-hoop and rightly so after their stunning victory over Yorkshire. Who will join them in the semi-finals? Essex's run-chase has begun. They are five without loss in the third over.

6.03pm - RESULT! Durham (237) beat Yorkshire Vikings (206) by 31 runs at Headingley. A brilliant comeback by Durham sees Yorkshire collapse from 133 for two to 206 all out, with Williamson, Bairstow and Gale all falling for ducks.

5.53pm - Yorkshire belatedly bring up their 200 off the final ball of the 46th over. They require 38 from 30 deliveries and some lusty hitting.

5.45pm - Pyrah repeats the trick to take Yorkshire to within 45 runs of the target. There's a long way to go but the Vikings all-rounder is starting to make Durham sweat a little.

5.39pm - Richard Pyrah, who has shown he is the man for a crisis in the past, hits Borthwick for back-to-back fours to give the Vikings some hope.

5.31pm - Ballance goes for 61 off Borthwick and it appears Yorkshire's hopes of reaching the last four go with him. They have gone from 133 for two to 170 for eight. It has been some collapse. Is this the work of demons from the NatWest T20 Blast contest on the same ground earlier in the summer?

5.20pm - Peter McKay, standing in for Tim Ambrose, takes Napier for 19 in the final over as Warwickshire finish on a competitive 271 for seven. Essex have a good batting line-up and it's a fast-scoring ground so we're in for an exciting run-chase.

5.15pm - The Bears manage seven off the penultimate over as Topley finishes with figures of 3-56.

5.08pm - Ballance can only watch on as another partner walks back to the pavilion. This time it's Adil Rashid trudging off after being caught at deep midwicket by Gordon Muchall off Paul Collingwood, leaving Yorkshire well and truly up against it on 151 for six in the 37th over.

Wickets continue to tumble at the Essex County Ground, with Jeetan Patel falling to Napier. Warwickshire are 244 for seven with two overs remaining.

4.51pm - Yorkshire are losing their way much like Durham did earlier in the day, and skipper Andrew Gale is the next man to go. It's an excellent stumping from Phil Mustard to see off Gale. The Vikings have slipped from 133 for two to 138 for five.

Evans has fallen for Warwickshire to a stunning catch from Ryder. They are 216 for five in the 45th over.

4.49pm - Ballance has reached fifty as his remarkable summer continues, but he has a crucial role to play in the rest of this game if Yorkshire are to progress.

4.40pm - Just as it was looking straightforward for the Vikings, Lees plays a loose shot and is caught at cover for 49 and Jonny Bairstow follows him second ball, with 105 runs still needed in 20 overs.

At the Essex County Ground, Clarke has gone one better than Lees and has reached 50 in the 43rd over.

4.25pm - Scotland international Coleman hits a glorious four through the covers but gets a leading edge next up and Masters takes the catch off his own bowling to bring Laurie Evans to the crease, and we know how he can strike the ball.

4.22pm - Trott goes for an excellent 61, chasing a wide ball from Reece Topley and only feathering a catch through to the keeper. Key breakthrough for the Eagles as it brings the inexperienced Freddie Coleman to the crease.

4.12pm - Trott passes a half-century as Clarke closes in on his in the powerplay, and the Bears are well-placed now.

4.02pm - There has been just seven boundaries and one six so far for Warwickshire as the powerplay approaches. The score is 146 for two in the 35th over, but signs that the tempo is being increased.

3.56pm - Bit of relief for the Vikings as Gary Ballance finally gets his innings rolling with a brace of fours off Hastings.

3.43pm - Rikki Clarke and Jonathan Trott have put on 50 together as Warwickshire recovered from the little stutter earlier on. The run-rate is gradually improving. 118 for two in the 29th over.

3.26pm - Yorkshire's dangerous opening partnership has once again got them off to a good start, reaching 58 in the 10th over before Adam Lyth is caught behind to give John Hastings a breakthrough.

Double blow as Kane Williamson goes first ball! Game on at Headingley!

3.12pm -  The openers dug themselves a bit of a hole and it's cost them both dearly. First Porterfield and now Chopra goes after getting bogged down, hitting Westley straight down the throat of mid-off.

3.02pm - The Warwickshire batsmen were clearly getting bogged down and it's cost Porterfield, who chips Westley to midwicket where Jesse Ryder takes a good catch.

2.50pm - First real warning signs for the batsmen, as Will Porterfield is almost trapped in front on the reverse sweep. The spin of Tom Westley is proving tricky to get away so far.

2.22pm - It's been a sedate start from Warwickshire at Essex. They have moved to 19 from the opening six overs with both openers taking their time to settle.

2.05pm - Pyrah ousts Chris Rushworth to finish with figures of 4-51 and dismiss Durham for 237 in 48.4 overs. The visitors lost seven wickets for just 59 runs.

2.01pm - Durham, on 232 for nine in the 48th over, may not bat out their full allocation as John Hastings is bowled by Patterson.

1.58pm - Gordon Muchall hits Pyrah for a brace of fours, but the bowler responds by having the right-hander caught at long-on for 26.

1.50pm - Gareth Breese's run-a-ball 13 ends when Patterson has him caught by Bresnan at mid-on.

1.36pm - Pyrah has another and Durham are struggling on 185 for six at Headingley. Keaton Jennings gifts the seamer a return catch.

Essex : Mark Pettini, Tom Westley, Greg Smith, Ravi Bopara, Jesse Ryder, James Foster, Ryan ten Doeschate, Graham Napier, Tim Phillips, David Masters, Reece Topley.

Warwickshire : Varun Chopra, Will Porterfield, Jonathan Trott, Freddie Coleman, Laurie Evans, Rikki Clarke, Ateeq Javid, Jeetan Patel, Peter McKay, Oliver Hannon-Dalby, Boyd Rankin.

Essex win the toss and elect to field versus Warwickshire.

1.30pm - Ballance takes another catch, this time providing Brooks with the key wicket of Collingwood for 38.

1.22pm - Mark Stoneman goes to 100  from 117 balls, with 10 boundaries and a six, but he's gone an over later, finding Ballance out in the deep to give Pyrah a first scalp.

1.19pm -  Collingwood has been in remarkable form in the Royal London One-Day Cup this season. At 38 years of age you might think he'd be past his best, but he's rolled back the years with over 350 runs so far at an average of over 60. No wonder he signed a new contract recently .

1.15pm -  We'll bring you news from Essex Eagles against Warwickshire when we have it. The game is due to start at 2pm.

1.10pm -  It's turning into a good partnership for Collingwood and Stoneman, with the latter approaching a first century of the tournament. The stand has reached 57 as we head into the final 15 overs.

1pm -  The batting powerplay has been taken after 33 overs with the score on 140 for three.

12.40pm -  There's been a bit of a lull in terms of scoring since Paul Collingwood made his way to the wicket, but Stoneman has hit three fours in one Brooks over to inject a little bit of momentum back into the Durham innings.

12.28pm -  Rashid's impressive run of form continues, and it's Borthwick who has been given a taste of his own medicine. The Durham leg-spinner tries to hit the Yorkshireman down the ground but only finds Bresnan at mid-on who takes the catch. The score is 98 for three in the 25th over.

12.07pm -  Calum MacLeod didn't last long before he was bowled by Patterson to bring Scott Borthwick to the crease and pull the Vikings just about even.

11.46am -  Rashid, in his second over, gets the first wicket as Mustard attempts a reverse-sweep but a can only get a top edge, which balloons into the air and into the hands of Jonny Bairstow behind the stumps.

11.41am -  We have the first sign of spin today as the tournament's leading wicket-taker, Adil Rashid, replaces Richard Pyrah for the 13th over.

11.35am -  A Steve Patterson maiden keeps Durham on 46 for none at the end of the first powerplay, but the visitors have made a good start after being put in in tricky conditions.

11.10am -  A brace of boundaries from Phil Mustard off Jack Brooks gets the game under way again, and Durham have moved on to 16 without loss after four overs.

11.04am -  It sounds fairly grim from Headingley, with a spectator taken ill and there are reports of CPR being given and paramedics on the scene. Fingers crossed.

Although the incident puts the game in perspective, play is due to resume in five minutes.

10.30am -  Showers are expected later in the day in Leeds, but for now, it is dry as Tim Bresnan gets the game underway.

10.16am -  Yorkshire have named Gary Ballance in their side, after he was released by England. He comes in for Jack Leaning in an otherwise straightforward side.

Yorkshire: Adam Lyth, Alex Lees, Kane Williamson, Gary Ballance, Jonny Bairstow, Andrew Gale, Adil Rashid, Tim Bresnan, Richard Pyrah, Steve Patterson, Jack Brooks.

The visitors are without Ben Stokes after he played at Cardiff yesterday.

Durham : Mark Stoneman, Phil Mustard, Calum MacLeod, Scott Borthwick, Paul Collingwood, Keaton Jennings, Gordon Muchall, John Hastings, Gareth Breese, Paul Coughlin, Chris Rushworth.

10.05am - Yorkshire skipper Andrew Gale has won the toss and has elected to field first.
