9.35pm – What a day that’s been, particularly for Derbyshire who have reached their first knockout stage since 2005. Here’s a reminder of the quarter-final line-up and the results:
Notts Outlaws v Derbyshire Falcons, Tuesday 26 August, 2pm start
Yorkshire Vikings v Durham, Thursday 28 August, 10.30am start
Essex Eagles v Warwickshire, Thursday 28 August, 2pm start
Kent Spitfires v Gloucestershire, Friday 29 August, 2pm start
Derbyshire Falcons claimed the last quarter-final spot, beating Gloucestershireby 53 runs at the 3aaa County Ground thanks largely to 96 from Billy Godleman.
Yorkshire Vikings finished top of the table after easing past Hampshireby six wickets at the Ageas Bowl as Adil Rashind’s 5-33 trumped Jimmy Adams’ 91 not out.
Essex Eagles secured second place bychasing 312 to beat Northants Steelbacks at Wantage Road. David Willey blasted 113 for the hosts but Mark Pettini set up a win, which ultimately came with three balls and four wickets to spare, with 88.
Lancashire Lightning thrashed Leicestershireby eight wickets, comfortably overhauling 184 thanks to fifties from openers Tom Smith and Luis Reece.
9.22pm – RESULT! Essex Eagles (315/6) defeat Northants Steelbacks (311ao) by four wickets at Wantage Road. Essex, already assured of second in Group A, get the five runs they need from the last over with three balls to spare to see off Northants, whose players must have known before the end that their quest for the last eight was in vain.
WICKET - Foster attempts a scoop shot and loses his middle stump to an Azhar Ullah yorker. Essex are 291/6 needing 21 from 22 balls

8.24pm – After David Willey bowls Jaik Mickleburgh, Bopara brings up a half-century to keep Essex in with a shout of beating Northants.
Alex Gidman goes lbw to Wainwright for 47, leaving Gloucestershire 174 for seven in the 35th over.
7.58pm – Gloucestershire lose three wickets in five overs as Derbyshire take control at 136 for six in the 27th. Dent, bowled by David Wainwright for 70, Will Gidman and Benny Howell are the men to go. The worse news for the visitors is captain Michael Klinger, who retired hurt towards the start of the innings, will not bat again.
Pettini falls for 88 to Graeme White, halting an alliance worth 106 with Ravi Bopara who now surely is Essex’s best hope of victory. They need 112 more in just more than 17 overs.
Vital wicket for @DerbyshireCCC@davidwainwrigh7 removing Chris Dent for 70. Leicestershire have lost. It's on boys! pic.twitter.com/i9YbuZaB9h

7.41pm – RESULT! Lancashire Lightning (185/2) defeat Leicestershire Foxes (184) by eight wickets at Emirates Old Trafford. Karl Brown is unbeaten on 49 from 53 balls as the hosts romp to victory with 20 overs unused. Leicestershire’s current fourth place in Group A looks precarious and Lancashire avoid the ignominy of coming bottom of the table. Hampshire take the wooden spoon.
Change of bat for Ravi Bopara who scored 15 with his previous one. Mark Pettini 53 and the Eagles 140 for 1 in 25th over. #NorvEss

7.23pm – RESULT! Yorkshire Vikings (173/4) beat Hampshire (172) by six wickets at the Ageas Bowl. Bairstow is unbeaten on 45 as Yorkshire ease to victory with plenty of time to spare. The Vikings go clear at the top of Group A and it looks like their net run-rate will keep them there.
7.14pm – Luis Reece goes to a fifty before falling to Jigar Naik as Lancashire ease towards Leicestershire’s 184.
Lees departs for 61, undone by Tomlinson, having added 78 with Bairstow.
Footitt has Ian Cockbain caught behind for 13, putting Derbyshire on top of Gloucestershire.
7.01pm – Westley falls lbw to Matt Spriegel for 62, ending a 94-run stand with Pettini. Essex are 94 for one in the 16th over but have plenty to do to chase 312.

Yorkshire are closing in on victory having recovered from Barber’s double strike.
50 for Alex Lees. Another fine innings from @aleesy14. Yorkshire 124 for 3. 49 more to win.
— Yorkshire CCC (@Yorkshireccc) August 21, 2014
6.46pm – Tom Smith eases to a fifty from 45 balls but soon holes out to long-on for 54 off James Sykes, leaving Lancashire 97 for one in the 15th over and well on course to chase 185.
Wes Durston holds a stunning catch, diving to his left at second slip, to give Mark Footitt the scalp of Gareth Roderick and make Gloucestershire 46 for two in the ninth over.
Tom Westley races to 50 from 31 balls with 8x4 and 1x6. Mark Petitni 19. Eagles are 73-0 after their 1st 10 poweprlay overs. #NorvEss

Tom Westley and Mark Pettini are going well for Essex, who reach 50 for no wicket from eight overs.

6.20pm - We’re back underway in all four games and there is almost a hat-trick!
Hampshire’s Tom Barber has Williamson and Andrew Gale caught behind from consecutive balls but Jonny Bairstow survives the next. Yorkshire are 81 for three in the 13th over.
5.35pm – The players quickly return at Derby and the hosts post 271 for seven despite losing Elstone, bowled by David Payne for 37 in the last over.
The interval also arrives at the Ageas Bowl where Yorkshire are 79 for one from 13 overs, chasing 173 for victory, with Alex Lees on 25 and Kane Williamson 31.
It’s also the break at Emirates Old Trafford with Lancashire 33 for none from seven overs in reply to Leicestershire’s 184.
CHANCE | Redfern puts down a sharp chance off Shreck as Smith hits to backward point
— Leicestershire CCC (@leicsccc) August 21, 2014
5.17pm – Tom Westley strikes three times in an over to dismiss Northants for 311 with 18 balls unused. That gives Westley figures of 4-60 from 10 overs.
Rain forces the players off at the 3aaa County Ground with Derbyshire 252 for six with nine deliveries to go, Scott Elstone on 31 and Tony Palladino 22 from 11 balls. That could be the end of their innings.
Successive boundaries off Basil Akram for Williamson. He's raced to 20 and Yorkshire are 53 for 1 in the 10th.173 to win.
— Yorkshire CCC (@Yorkshireccc) August 21, 2014

4.49pm - Willey goes to a century from 84 balls. A stunning innings from the Northants all-rounder that has helped the Steelbacks to 273 for five in the 41st over. They are doing everything they can to try and force a way into the quarter-finals places.
4.44pm - Godleman falls four runs short of a century. He doesn't look best pleased to see the umpire raise his finger after he swished at a ball from Will Gidman that drifted down the leg side. Roderick, standing up again, was straight up and the appeal was enough to convince the man in the middle.
4.32pm - Jigar Naik and Anthony Ireland are both bowled in quick succession. Leicestershire are 169 for eight and with Derbyshire and Northants going so well they are looking vulnerable to lose fourth place.
OUT. Rashid has five wickets! Hampshire all out for 172 with Adams unbeaten on 91. Tomlinson the last to go for 0. Rashid 5/33
— Yorkshire CCC (@Yorkshireccc) August 21, 2014
4.20pm - Madsen reaches another half-century from 61 balls only to then fall to a clever catch from wicketkeeper Gareth Roderick standing up to the stumps off David Payne for 57. The ball bobbled out of his gloves for a moment, but Roderick easily scooped up the ball with one hand.

Bates (19) & Briggs (1) have fallen in quick succession. Akram is the new batsman on his debut. Hampshire are 167-7 after 35 overs. #RLODC
— Hampshire Cricket (@hantscricket) August 21, 2014
3.55pm - Leicestershire are just struggling a little as Ned Eckersley and Shiv Thakor fall in quick succession to leave them 128 for five after 30 overs. That is opening the door for Derbyshire.
Northants are certainly not out of it either as David Willey brings up a half-century from 46 balls to power the Steelbacks on to 182 for three after 29 overs.
UPDATE: These two gradually building an important partnership; Derbyshire 121-2 (28); Godleman 61*, Madsen 22* #DERvGLO

The Falcons will be happy to hear also that Leicestershire have lost another wicket and it is Josh Cobb for 58. Steven Croft strikes with his second ball for Lancashire.
Hampshire are 122 for five against Yorkshire with Matt Coles falling to Steven Patterson. The Vikings are placing themselves well for a home quarter-final.
3.13pm - Adam Rossington has been run out for seven and the Steelbacks have just lost their way after that century opening stand.

2.55pm - I spoke too soon. Keogh is bowled by Reece Topley the ball after reaching his fifty and then new man Kyle Coetzer is caught driving at David Masters for a duck.
2.50pm - Northants are purring along at Wantage Road. Openers Rob Keogh and Richard Levi have brought up a 100-run stand in the 14th over. Keogh's fifty comes from 38 balls while Levi, unusually dwarfed by his partner, gets there from 44 deliveries.
Hampshire's problems have deepened at the Ageas Bowl though as they slump to 76 for four with Joe Gatting trapped lbw by Adil Rashid.
2.34pm - Niall O'Brien departs for the Foxes for 11 as Kabir Ali grabs the first wicket of the day at Emirates Old Trafford.

1.42pm - Leicestershire are alone in opting to bat first. Yorkshire, Gloucestershire and Essex have all elected to bowl first after winning the toss, most likely because of the rain about which could bring the Duckworth/Lewis calculations into the equation later tonight.
Foxes have won the toss and will bat first

1.30pm - Welcome to our live coverage of the final group games in the Royal London One-Day Cup. We had a thrilling finale to Group B last night and hopefully we get more of the same tonight.
There is one quarter-final place up for grabs with Leicestershire Foxes best placed to snatch that. A win for them over last-placed Lancashire Lightning will do the trick, but Derbyshire Falcons and Northants Steelbacks will be ready to swoop should any mistakes be made.
Here's today's games:
Derbyshire Falcons v Gloucestershire at the 3aaa County Ground.
Lancashire Lightning v Leicestershire Foxes at Emirates Old Trafford.
Northants Steelbacks v Essex Eagles at Wantage Road.
Hampshire v Yorkshire Vikings at the Ageas Bowl.
