9.45pm - That’s all from us today, when the solitary Group A encounter between Gloucestershire and Lancashire Lightning was washed out without a ball being bowled.

Thankfully, Jacques Rudolph, Ben Stokes and Laurie Evans were among those to produce stellar performances in the Group B encounters. There will be four more Royal London One-Day Cup games for your enjoyment tomorrow - we look forward to seeing you then.

Here’s a summary of today’s action:

England all-rounder Ben Stokes struck his first century since the Ashes tour as Durham (223/4) handed Notts Outlaws (222/9) their maiden defeat of the competition at Emirates Durham ICG. Both teams look like sound bets for the quarter-finals stages.

Jacques Rudolph was the hero at the top of the order for Glamorgan (289/6), reaching three figures before Michael Hogan tore into Somerset (207) as the Welsh county secured a 95-run triumph on the Duckworth-Lewis method at Taunton.

Warwickshire (218/2) got the better of Surrey (153) by 111 runs on Duckworth-Lewis at Edgbaston, as Jeetan Patel continued his fine season with figures of 4-30 and Varun Chopra and Laurie Evans produced heroics with the bat to end Surrey's slim hopes of progression.

9.23pm - RESULT! Warwickshire (218/2) beat Surrey (153) by 111 runs on the Duckworth-Lewis method at Edgbaston. Rain disruption meant the situation was not ideal for either side in Birmingham but Varun Chopra, Evans, Patel, Clarke and Gordon were all exceptional for the hosts once the weather cleared. Leg-spinner Josh Poysden finished the job by bowling Stuart Meaker.

9.12pm - It’s another magnificent display from Jeetan Patel. The man who did his part in checking Surrey’s early momentum returns to have Gary Wilson caught by Will Porterfield on the leg-side boundary. Four balls later Chris Tremlett falls to the same bowler as Clarke’s juggling routine reaches a happy conclusion for the hosts, who can smell victory now.

8.56pm - The visitors are now 126 for six and need something truly remarkable from the remaining 12.3 overs to stay in the tournament. Gordon makes Aneesh Kapil his second victim.

8.48pm - The game might just be up for Surrey as Recordo Gordon persuades Dilshan to send one into Jonathan Trott’s safe hands for 58.

8.36pm - Rory Burns is the new man alongside Dilshan and takes Surrey to three figures with a maximum. The opener then engineers his eighth four to bring up a run-a-ball half century.

8.22pm - But Clarke ensures they do not stay together! Mahmood has his furniture rearranged by an inch-perfect yorker and Warwickshire are on the charge.

8.17pm - Surrey are two down as Ateeq Javid takes the catch to dismiss Vikram Solanki for one off Rikki Clarke. Dilshan remains on 40 and he is joined by Azhar Mahmood. There could be fireworks if these two spend a few overs together. The score is 82 for two, with 183 needed from 21 overs.

7.58pm - Dilshan is very much in on the act himself now, with 25 in a still-unbroken opening stand of 56 after seven overs. Warwickshire will be keen to separate this pair and spin, in the form of Jeetan Patel, is into the attack early. Hannon-Dalby’s opening three overs have cost 31.

7.45pm - Right out of the screws! Davies takes Oliver Hannon-Dalby for six and follows up with four more, the over costing 15. Surrey are 32 without loss after four and Davies has 24 from 15 balls. Sedate compared to Laurie Evans but not to be sniffed at!

7.33pm - Surrey’s replay is up and running, and Steven Davies and Tillakaratne Dilshan take six from the first over.

7.20pm - Apologies for the lack of updates from our end. Unfortunately I’ve been battling some technical issues for the past half hour. As you may already be away, Warwickshire posted 218 for two from their 33 overs, skipper Varun Chopra carrying his bat for 92 not out and Laurie Evans smashing a simply sensational 43 from just 15 balls. His knock. coming after Chris Tremlett dismissed Jonathan Trott for 31, featured five fours and three mighty sixes.

The upshot is Surrey will chase a revised Duckworth-Lewis target of 265 from 33 overs.

6.32pm - The news from Birmingham is we’re looking at a 6.50pm restart with 33 overs per side. That means six remaining overs for Warwickshire to improve upon 134 for one before Duckworth-Lewis calculations come into play.

6.23pm - The big hover cover is off at Edgbaston but there are still patches of standing water, I’m afraid. Pitchforks at the ready!

5.59pm - RESULT! Glamorgan (289/6) beat Somerset (207) by 95 runs on the Duckworth-Lewis method at Taunton. Michael Hogan bowls Jack Leach for a five-ball duck to end with fine figures of 3-18. Glamorgan’s attack did a magnificent job of backing up Jacques Rudolph’s 111 and half centuries from Murray Goodwin and Chris Cooke.

All that remains now is the game at Edgbaston, where we are waiting on another inspection at 6.15pm due to wet patches on the outfield.

5.50pm - The end is nigh for Somerset as James Harris has Alfonso Thomas caught by Graham Wagg.

5.39pm - RESULT! Durham (223/4) beat Notts Outlaws (222/9) by six wickets at the Emirates Durham ICG. Durham get home with 27 deliveries to spare after Stokes did wonders for his county’s quarter-final hopes, following up 2-40 with an excellent century.

5.34pm - Century for Ben Stokes! It really has been a superb knock from the England all-rounder. However, he won’t see Durham over the finish line as he falls to Samit Patel for 103. Scott Borthwick joins Paul Collingwood and the hosts need seven more.

5.23pm - Cosker grabs a second wicket as Alex Barrow perishes to long-off. Somerset are 150 for seven chasing 303.

5.19pm - They’ll be back for another inspection at Edgbaston at 5.45pm.

5.01pm - Stoneman and Stokes continue along their merry way, with the latter clattering a pair of sixes.

Batting is nowhere near as enjoyable a pastime for Somerset, who have now lost Lewis Gregory lbw to Dean Cosker and are 119 for six.

4.55pm - The rain at Edgbaston got pretty heavy but has now stopped. There will be an inspection at 5.15pm.

4.37pm - Ben Stokes beats Mark Stoneman to fifty, with Durham 123 for two chasing 223.

Glamorgan are on top at Taunton now as James Hildreth hands Graham Wagg a first scalp.

4.21pm - Somerset lose another at Taunton, Jim Allenby dismissing Colin Ingram.

They are off for rain again at Edgbaston.

4.09pm - Chopra makes another superb contribution at the top of the order, moving to fifty off 74 balls. He and Jonathan Trott have guided Warwickshire to 120 for one after 25 overs.

3.47pm - Glamorgan seamer Hogan has a second, bowling Marcus Trescothick for 25.

Irishman Porterfield goes at Edgbaston after edging Tim Linley's first ball behind to fellow countryman Gary Wilson.

3.38pm - Luke Fletcher unsettles Durham with a double blow. The seamer removes Phil Mustard and Calum MacLeod in the space of three balls to leave the hosts 35 for two.

Michael Hogan has Nick Compton caught behind at Taunton.

3.10pm - Somerset are set a revised Duckworth/Lewis target of 303 in 47 overs at Taunton.

Rain takes the players from the field at Edgbaston, where the hosts are 68 without loss after 15 overs.

2.43pm - Glamorgan finish on 289 for six at Taunton courtesy of Rudolph's hundred and Cooke's fifty.

Warwickshire openers Varun Chopra and Will Porterfield race to 51 after 10 overs.

2.36pm - Glamorgan lose Graham Wagg and Chris Cooke, who made 60, to Gregory.

2.17pm - Century for Rudolph. The left-hander is lifting Glamorgan towards a decent score. He requires 121 balls to make three figures. However, he falls to Tim Groenewald for 111 in the 44th over.

Jake Ball is out in the final over, but Notts Outlaws make 222 for nine at the Emirates Durham ICG.

2pm - Chris Read departs next, hitting Hastings to Borthwick in the deep in the penultimate over.

1.50pm - Notts are struggling with three overs remaining. They slip to 200 for seven when Ajmal Shahzad slashes a wide Stokes delivery behind.

1.40pm - Franklin struggles to get going at the Emirates Durham ICG, taking 66 balls for his 28 that ends when he hits Gareth Breese to Stokes on the boundary.

Warwickshire win the toss and decide to make first use at Edgbaston.

1.28pm - Rain takes the players off at Taunton, where Rudolph is one short of a century. Glamorgan are well placed on 236 for three in the 43rd over.

1.10pm - A 61-run stand between Riki Wessels and James Franklin ends when the former edges John Hastings behind to depart for 44. The Outlaws are 155 for five with 14 overs left.

12.46pm - Murray Goodwin follows team-mate Rudolph to fifty, off 58 balls, only to then fall to Gregory for 62. Rudolph is still there with 72 of Glamorgan's 166 for three.

There will be another inspection at Bristol in 45 minutes after the previous one was hampered by more wet weather.

12.14pm - Jacques Rudolph's impressive performances continue at the top of the order for Glamorgan. The South African left-hander reaches a half-century off 64 balls to lift his side to 98 for two.

12.04pm - Durham are turning the screw now. Scott Borthwick collects a second scalp by bowling Samit Patel for three. The Outlaws have lost three wickets for nine runs.

11.52am - Paul Collingwood's recent form with the ball continues. The former England all-rounder has Steven Mullaney caught at cover to leave the Outlaws 85 for two after 19 overs.

11.22am - Marcus Trescothick takes his second catch of the morning, holding on to an edge from Will Bragg off Peter Trego.

Durham's Ben Stokes makes a vital breakthrough as he has Lumb caught at mid-off for 31, ending an opening stand of 51.

11.09am - Michael Lumb is moving along nicely at the Emirates Durham ICG, hitting 27 of Notts' 45 without loss in nine overs.

10.53am - Lunch will be taken at 12pm at Bristol, with an inspection scheduled for 30 minutes later.

10.44am - Lewis Gregory strikes early at Taunton, removing the dangerous Jim Allenby for a four-ball duck.

10.15am - While we wait for the action to start, why not read our preview of today's games.

10.05am - Somerset ask Glamorgan to bat after winning the toss, while Durham choose to bowl.
