Recap today's rain-hit Royal London One-Day Cup action where Somerset missed the chance to reach the Group B summit after losing to Sussex Sharks at Taunton.
By Will Jackson & Callum Dent
6.16pm - Sussex Sharks were the only county to be victorious on a soddened day across the country. Below are the outcomes of the six games.
Derbyshire Falcons against Essex Eagles at the 3aaa County Ground and Leicestershire Foxes versus Northants Steelbacks at Grace Road fell victim to the wet weather without a ball bowled.
Somerset missed the chance to leapfrog Kent Spitfires to the Group B summit after an unbroken stand of 94 in 16.2 overs between Matt Machan and Ed Joyce, with 47 and 46 respectively, led Sussex Sharks to a seven-wicket victory on the Duckworth/Lewis method at Taunton.
Mark Stoneman had 46 of Durham’s56 for three when the elements ended their clash with Middlesex Panthers at the Emirates Durham ICG.
There was no play at Trent Bridge for Notts Outlaws’ heavyweight fixture with Surrey and the precipitation also ruined Warwickshire’s game against Kent Spitfires at Rugby School.
And that's it. @sussex have won by 7 wickets and the Group suddenly looks a lot tighter.

5.58pm - RESULT! Sussex Sharks beat Somerset by seven wickets on the Duckworth/Lewis method at Taunton. An unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 94 from Joyce and Machan, who finish unbeaten on 46 and 47 respectively, leads Sussex to victory.
5.55pm - Sussex are coasting home, needing just 15 to win. Somerset are set to miss the chance to move to the top of Group B.
5.48pm - The Sussex duo are in the thirties. The Sharks have got to be favourites now. They require 32 from 38.
10 overs remain and @SussexCCC need 54 to win
— Somerset Cricket (@SomersetCCC) August 10, 2014
5.25pm - Joyce and Machan take their stand to 34 to leave the Sharks requiring 60 off 12 overs.
5.06pm - Ed Joyce and Matt Machan are charged with the task of getting Sussex over the line now. The Sharks require 88 in 19 overs. Game on!
Leachy gets his 2nd wicket. Cachopa is caught by Lewis for 5 T-ing off. @SussexCCC are now 95/3 in the 13th

4.47pm - Just as they looked like winning the game for the visitors, openers Chris Nash and Wright have gone within the space of an over. Nash goes first, run out by wicketkeeper Alex Barrow, before dangerman Wright is caught and bowled by Jack Leach, who has started very well. The score is 88 for two now but with those two scoring so quickly, it gives the new men plenty of time to settle in.
4.31pm - The Duckworth/Lewis method may have been a little cruel to Somerset here. Sussex can approach the game as though it is a Twenty20, and they're certainly doing that. They've reached 66 from just seven overs, and they're well on their way to the target.
4.17pm - It's been a good start to the chase for the Sharks, they're 33 without loss at the end of the fourth over. Luke Wright hasn't had much of the strike but he's scoring at a fair old rate so far.
4pm - The revised target for Sussex is 189 in 33 overs.
So after Yasir's heroics @SussexCCC need 194 to win off 33 overs. Hildy finished on 42*. Could be a close finish in store

3.46 - Recap - Three wickets in the final over from Yasir Arafat saw him finish with 5-36 as Somerset ended up on 193 for eight against Sussex Sharks.
Derbyshire Falcons v Essex Eagles , Leicestershire Foxes v Northants Steelbacks , Notts Outlaws v Surrey and Warwickshire v Kent Spitfires were all abandoned without a ball bowled, while Durham v Middlesex Panthers was eventually called off after 14 overs.
3.40pm - A useful cameo from Lewis Gregory comes to an end. He hit a six in his 18 but he's gone in the final over. The score is 192 for six.
Tim Groenewald becomes the third man to fall first ball, attempting to give it the long handle.
MATCH ABANDONED. The players are shaking hands and that's it - both teams take a point.

3.31pm - The three-over batting powerplay has been taken, with four set of sixes in the innings left.
3.17pm - Another big wicket for the Sharks as Ingram spots the fielding mistake, and then is run out attempting to steal a second run. 'Never run on a mis-field' Colin! You must have heard that before?
He's gone for 71, and Alex Barrow is gone first ball! He's been bowled by Steffan Piolet and the home team are 158 for five all of a sudden.
That's the 150 up. Hildy 24* Colin 70*. 6.3 overs to go
— Somerset Cricket (@SomersetCCC) August 10, 2014
2.58pm - Somerset are 124 for three with 10 overs to go. If James Hildreth can get going, they could post a very tough target for Sussex.
2.47pm - Ingram brings up his half-century and the Somerset 100. He's showing signs of opening his shoulders in recent overs, including hitting Will Beer for six.
2.42pm - Chris Liddle strikes for the Sharks, removing Compton for a well-made 42. A good partnership of 96 comes to an end, but that could be a crucial knock in setting the game up for the lower-order after the poor start.
It's raining again unfortunately here at Emirates Durham ICG. We'll keep you updated on prospects of play.

2.35pm - Somerset have advanced to 85 for two at Taunton. Nick Compton and Colin Ingram are going along nicely in the 18th over.
1.36pm - We have good news! Play will recommence at 1.45pm at Taunton, with the game reduced to 33 overs a side. How crucial are those wickets of Trescothick and Trego now...
1.24pm - No news yet from the two remaining games. There was due to be a pitch inspection at 1.15pm but there is no news yet of a decision.
12.23pm - Play has now officially been abandoned at Trent Bridge, giving the Outlaws and Surrey a point each. So we have just Durham versus Middlesex Panthers, and Somerset against Sussex Sharks still in play, although both are currently off the field.
And off they come again.....
— Somerset Cricket (@SomersetCCC) August 10, 2014
11.59am - Believe it or not, they are underway at Taunton. It's been a dreadful start for Somerset, however, with Marcus Trescothick and Peter Trego going in the second over to Yasir Arafat in consecutive deliveries.
Elsewhere, the games at Grace Road and Rugby School have officially been abandoned.
As Rihanna urges everyone to stand under her umbrella, the players head off the field with rain starting to fall. We are 56-3, Stoneman 46*.

11.21am - There's a bit more hokey-cokey at Taunton, as the teams head out and then back in again.
Lunch has been brought forward at Grace Road.
11am - What a toss to win for Middlesex, Ben Stokes, who has just been named in the England squad for the fifth Investec Test, goes without scoring. Great start for the visitors. Will the weather scupper them later on in the day?
After lining up to go out onto the pitch, the two teams at Taunton have been sent scurrying for the dressing rooms. The covers are back on...it could be a long day!
10.50am - Calum MacLeod lasts just two balls and all of a sudden Durham are 31 for two in the fifth over.
10.47am - Phil Mustard is the first man to depart today, he edges to second slip after making just three.
The umpires have returned from the middle and confirmed a midday inspection. Rain has got heavier since though :( #YouBears
— Warwickshire CCC (@CricketingBears) August 10, 2014
10.39am - It's been a sensational start for Durham, Mark Stoneman smashes three consecutive sixes in the second over, all pulls over midwicket.
10.31am - We are underway at Durham, but there is rain affecting all of the other fixtures. Warwickshire versus Kent Spitfires has been delayed due to the wet weather, as has Leicestershire Foxes against Northants Steelbacks and Notts Outlaws' clash with Surrey.
Play is expected to start at Taunton in just under half-an-hour, with Sussex letting Somerset have first use of the pitch.

10.21am - At Taunton the rain has ceased and play with begin at 11am should there be no further rain, making it a 49-overs per-side contest.
10.20am - Unfortunately that could be the first of a few games to be called off today, with lots of rain and even a hurricane around. However, the toss has gone up at the Emirates Durham ICG, and Panthers skipper Eoin Morgan has chosen to bowl first.
MATCH ABANDONED! Unfortunately, today's #RLODC fixture vs @EssexCricket has been abandoned after an umpire's inspection #DERvESS
