New Zealand A claimed their second triangular-series victory in as many days by hammering Sri Lanka A by seven wickets at Bristol.
Fresh from seeing off the England Lions yesterday, the Black Caps prospered with the ball after winning the toss.
Ish Sodhi claimed 4-10 and Doug Bracewell took 3-19 as Sri Lanka were skittled for just 140 in 35 overs.
And Tom Latham smashed 64 off 56 balls as New Zealand raced to their victory target in just 18 overs.
After losing the toss, Sri Lanka openers Danushka Gunathilaka and Mahela Udawatte made a steady start before they both fell with the score on 43.
Bracewell triggered another collapse, taking two of the three wickets to fall on 84, before Sodhi got to work.
The spinner’s four victims came in a devastating six-over spell that saw Sri Lanka’s lower order disintegrate.
Latham and Hamish Rutherford then put New Zealand well on their way to victory with an opening stand of 87 until the latter departed for 38.
Latham, who struck nine fours and a maximum, and Grant Elliott were dismissed in consecutive balls from Dushmantha Chameera with 14 runs still required, but Dean Brownlie and Colin Munro comfortably saw them home.
