All the action from Wednesday's three matches in the Royal London One-Day Cup, where Kent Spitfires, Sussex Sharks and Leicestershire Foxes were victorious.
By Callum Dent and Dominic Farrell
10.10pm - That’s all from us on a night when Kent cemented their status as Group B pacesetters and Niall O’Brien produced arguably the finest individual display of the tournament so far. Join us again tomorrow, when there will be more action from the Royal London One-Day Cup and the small matter of a Test match in Manchester.
Here’s a summary of tonight’s results:
Niall O’Brien’s sensational unbeaten century saw Leicestershire Foxes (186/4) beat Hampshire (275/9) by six wickets on the Duckworth-Lewis method at the Ageas Bowl, where Michael Carberry and Sean Terry impressed with fifties for the hosts before the rains came.
Kent Spitfires (210/4) cruised to a six-wicket win over Glamorgan (209) at the Spitfire Ground, with Doug Bollinger’s brilliant 5-35 setting up a triumph that Darren Stevens’ 62 not out sealed.
Sussex Sharks (289/8) made it two wins in as many nights with a 36-run triumph over Surrey (253/9) at the Kia Oval despite Tillakaratne Dilshan’s 85 for the home team.
One of the great ones from @niallnobiobrien this evening. Outstanding win! Tweakers bowled beautifully as well. #onthefields ....

9.47pm - RESULT! Leicestershire Foxes (186/4) beat Hampshire (275/9) by six wickets via the Duckworth-Lewis method. Four, six, 105 not out, victory - there really is nothing more to add to the sensational manner in which Niall O’Brien secured victory for his team. Simply stunning.
Single taken by O'Brien. Foxes need 10 off the last over. O'Brien on strike on 95*

9.41pm - So now it’s all eyes on the Ageas Bowl, where the Foxes need 13 from nine deliveries…
9.37pm - RESULT! Sussex Sharks (289/8) beat Surrey (253/9) by 36 runs at the Kia Oval. Sussex follow up last night’s dramatic comeback win over Durham with a far more assured all-round performance. Luke Wright, Ed Joyce and Craig Cachopa all struck half-centuries, while Lewis Hatchett and Chris Liddle took three wickets apiece.
9.32pm - Chris Wood gets rid of Dan Redfern but Leicestershire remain favourite, needing 24 from 20 and with O’Brien 10 shy of three figures.
9.27pm - Sussex are almost through to a second win in as many evening as Yasir Arafat bowls Gareth Batty for 13.
Boyce (7) has been bowled by a great delivery from Smith - @leicsccc now 137-3, needing 49 runs from 7 overs. #RLODC
— Hampshire Cricket (@hantscricket) August 6, 2014
9.07pm - Hatchett joins Liddle on three wickets as Stuart Meaker trudges back. Surrey are eight down and need 86 for 42. From this point, they require something frankly preposterous.
Tomlinson removes Greg Smith for 34 but Hampshire must still contend with O’Brien. The Irishman has 67 from 48 deliveries - if he remains a Foxes win looks a virtual certainty.
9.02pm - Double breakthrough for Sussex, who are surely now in the box seat. First Mahmood top-edges a pull behind off Hatchett and Liddle’s third wicket comes in the next over, as Beer holds Arun Harinath at deep midwicket.
O'Brien through to a terrific 50, four sixes in that milestone, just 36 balls faced #wellplayed

8.45pm - RESULT! Kent Spitfires (210/4) beat Glamorgan (209) by six wickets at the Spitfire Ground. Kent’s impressive form in this format continues, the Group B leaders winning at a canter with 6.2 overs to spare. Stevens ends with an unbeaten 62 but he’ll do well to deny Doug Bollinger the match award following the Aussie left-armer’s 5-35.
8.41pm - In what could be a decisive factor in the outcome, Leicestershire have taken to the introduction of spin very well. Danny Briggs’ first over cost 10, while Niall O’Brien smacked Will Smith for his third six of the innings. That brought Liam Dawson’s slow-left arm into the equation, also costing 10. It’s 77 for one, with the Foxes needing 109 from 14.3 overs.
8.29pm - Unconcerned by his partner’s departure, Stevens moves past 50 with a massive six over wide long-on. Superb hitting.
Cosker removes Cowdrey who miscues to Hogan at mid-on. Kent 177/4 in the 40th over.
— Glamorgan Cricket (@GlamCricket) August 6, 2014
8.23pm - The balance tips again at the Oval as Beer takes a return catch to remove Dilshan for 85. The hosts need 121 from 16 overs with five wickets in hand. Azhar Mahmood has 22 from 28 balls.
Leicestershire are 33 for one in the sixth over of their revised chase, Angus Robson the man to go to James Tomlinson for 15.
8.10pm - Fabian Cowdrey and Darren Stevens have added 53 for the fourth wicket, with 34 and 35 to their respective names. Glamorgan need something very special now.
Meanwhile, Dilshan has moved smoothy through to 77 and Surrey need 134 more from 20 overs.
Hooray! Play still re-start at 8:00pm at the Ageas Bowl with @leicsccc needing 186 runs to win from 25 overs. #RLODC
— Hampshire Cricket (@hantscricket) August 6, 2014
7.37pm - Tillakaratne Dilshan moves through to a half-century from 55 balls but not before Will Beer encourages Gary Wilson to chip a catch to midwicket in his first over. Sussex on top at the Kia Oval.
7.30pm - Cosker bowls Sam Northeast cutting for 33. The stand-in skipper’s departure leaves Kent 107 for three, while Liddle also has another breakthrough as Rory Burns goes caught at the wicket. Surrey are 108 for three.
7.11pm - There’ll be no repeat of Vikram Solanki’s fine 83 versus Kent last night - he goes caught behind off Chris Liddle for 21 and Surrey are 89 for two.
7.04pm - A much-needed breakthrough for Glamorgan as Ben Harmison’s enterprising 43 comes to an end courtesy of a top-edged sweep at Dean Cosker. Graham Wagg takes a simple catch.
7pm - We’ll have another inspection at Southampton at 7.30pm, while Kent and Surrey are progressing nicely in their run chases with scores of 70 for one and 79 for one respectively.
The rain is falling again, just when the inspection was due
— Leicestershire CCC (@leicsccc) August 6, 2014
6.28pm - It’s been a far-from-fluent start by Kent, who are 15 for one after nine overs. By contrast, Surrey raced to 38 after six before losing Steven Davies to Lewis Hatchett for 23. Luke Wright snaffled a tumbling chance at mid-on
6.15pm - There will be an inspection at the Ageas Bowl at 6.30pm. It's still looking really rather soggy.

6.04pm - Bell-Drummond doesn’t survive this time. Hogan draws another edge and, after examination from the third umpire to see whether Jim Allenby took the ball cleanly at first slip, the Kent man is on his way.
Surrey are under way, chasing 290 against Sussex.
5.56pm - Dropped! Dear, oh dear - Glamorgan really can’t afford to let chances like that pass them by. Jacques Rudolph shells a regulation edge by Bell-Drummond at second slip. Michael Hogan is the understandably exasperated bowler.
5.50pm - The early conclusion to Glamorgan’s innings means openers Sam Northeast and Daniel Bell-Drummond are already out in the middle to begin Kent’s response.
The covers are coming on and the rain is now coming down hard at the Ageas Bowl - we will keep you updated on the situation. #RLODC

5.24pm - We’ve reached the halfway point in all of today’s matches. Here’s how things stand:
Hampshire post 275 for nine against Leicestershire Foxes, as Michael Carberry and Sean Terry hit quickfire half-centuries. James Sykes' 3-34 suggests the Ageas Bowl pitch is taking turn.
Glamorgan were 209 all out against Kent Spitfires as Doug Bollinger starred with a five-wicket haul at the Spitfire Ground. Chris Cooke’s 100-ball 73 kept the visitors just above water.
Sussex Sharks make the most of fifties from Luke Wright, Ed Joyce and Craig Cachopa to score 289 for eight against Surrey at the Kia Oval, for whom Azhar Mahmood, Stuart Meaker and Tim Linley took two wickets apiece.
5.21pm - Solanki pouches again as Tim Linley removes Steffan Piolet without scoring.
5.17pm - Six and out! Ben Brown welts a huge maximum out of the ground off Azhar Mahmood but he chips the all-rounder’s slower ball to Vikram Solanki at midwicket next up. Sussex are 273 for seven heading into the final over.
Sussex 263-6 in the 49th over..Arafat c Linley b Mahmood 24
— Surrey Cricket (@surreycricket) August 6, 2014
5.06pm - It’s five for Bollinger as he gets one to tail away and take Dean Cosker’s off stump for figures of 5.35. Glamorgan fail to bat out their allocation and are 209 all out from 46.4 overs.
5.05pm - Ireland also accounts for Terry, caught behind for 63, to leave Hampshire nine down. Can they bat out their full allocation?
Glamorgan lose momentum as two wickets fall with the score on 208, Stevens and Bollinger doing the damage.
5 - @kentcricket have won their last five completed List A matches against Glamorgan. Flying.
— OptaJim (@OptaJim) August 6, 2014
4.54pm - Wood's 70-run stand with Terry ends when the former is trapped lbw by Anthony Ireland for 27.
Cooke departs for 73, hitting Bollinger to Fabian Cowdrey in the 45th over. A fine knock.
4.47pm - Terry is making the most of his first-team opportunity, making his half-century from just 48 balls. He is batting Hampshire into a decent position with six overs remaining.
Wicket. Machan goes for 29, caught off a mis-timed pull by Solanki at mid-wicket. Sussex 211-5 in the 43rd as Yasir Arafat joins Brown
— Sussex CCC (@SussexCCC) August 6, 2014
4.33pm - Cachopa fails to kick on, providing Gareth Batty with a first scalp to leave Sussex 199 for four with 10 overs left.
Sean Terry, making his maiden first-team appearance of the season, and Chris Wood share a stand of 31 to lift Hampshire to 199 for seven after 40 overs.
Glamorgan are 169 for six with 10 overs remaining, Cooke unbeaten on 54.
4.28pm - There have been a few fifties around today. Can anyone go on to three figures? Sussex's Craig Cachopa and Glamorgan's Chris Cooke will have aspirations of doing so, reaching half-centuries off 63 and 80 balls respectively.
Sykes 10-0-34-3
— Leicestershire CCC (@leicsccc) August 6, 2014
Bollinger bowls Wallace. Glam 154/6 in the 35th over.
— Glamorgan Cricket (@GlamCricket) August 6, 2014
4.12pm - Danny Briggs will be licking his lips at bowling on this Ageas Bowl surface. Fellow slow bowler Sykes has a third, having Matt Coles caught for a single. Can Hampshire get enough runs for Briggs to work with?
4.06pm - Sykes strikes again in Southampton, ending Will Smith's 54-ball 40. Hampshire are 165 for six.
Murray Goodwin also departs for 40, bowled by Doug Bollinger with Glamorgan on 146 for five.
3.58pm - Joyce cannot build on his half-century, well caught behind by Gary Wilson off Meaker for 58.
Sussex 154-2 after 31 overs
— Surrey Cricket (@surreycricket) August 6, 2014
3.48pm - The hosts are on the ropes at the Ageas Bowl now. The fit-again Liam Dawson becomes a first victim for economical left-arm spinner James Sykes, leaving Hampshire 139 for five.
Ed Joyce becomes the second Sussex Shark to make fifty this afternoon, the Irishman reaching the milestone from 67 deliveries.
Real grafter's pitch this. Dilshan the third spinner into the attack. Cachopa (26) was dropped at slip off Van Den Bergh. Joyce 39 128-2(28)
— Sussex CCC (@SussexCCC) August 6, 2014
3.41pm - Hampshire are now four down as Sean Ervine is run out at the Ageas Bowl. The Foxes will be looking to capitalise now.
3.35pm - Sussex Sharks and Glamorgan both follow Hampshire to three figures.
3.20pm - Play resumes at the Ageas Bowl after a short delay for rain.
3.06pm - Jigar Naik's first over of spin ousts Adam Wheater and Hampshire are three down for 99.
Glam 69/4 as Allenby is caught behind .
— Glamorgan Cricket (@GlamCricket) August 6, 2014
3.01pm - Big wickets are falling around the country. Dan Redfern's golden arm strikes again, this time Carberry is bowled for 61 at the Ageas Bowl.
Wright lasts just six more balls before he is run out by Surrey's Vikram Solanki.
Will Bragg's encouraging knock ends when he drills a return catch to Darren Stevens, in his second over, to leave Glamorgan 68 for three.
2.57pm - Wright requires 11 balls more than Carberry to reach the milestone. The right-hander has 50 of Sussex's 68 for one.
Adams (24) has been caught by Thakor for Redfern's first wicket. Hampshire are 90-1 after 13 overs. Wheater is the new batsman. #RLODC
— Hampshire Cricket (@hantscricket) August 6, 2014
2.46pm - Carberry races to a 38-ball half-century at the Ageas Bowl.
2.42pm - Glamorgan are two down with 40 on the board at the Spitfire Ground. Mitchell Claydon traps David Lloyd lbw for seven.
2.38pm - Hampshire openers Michael Carberry and Jimmy Adams are racing along, moving their stand past 50 inside the ninth over.
Sussex Shark Luke Wright also looks in good nick, with 33 to his name after nine overs at the Kia Oval.
Sussex 33-1 after 7 overs....Joyce 5*, Wright 23*
— Surrey Cricket (@surreycricket) August 6, 2014
2.22pm - Jacques Rudolph makes a horrendous mistake when grounding his bat and is run out by Calum Haggett's direct hit. The South African left-hander looks to get his willow caught in the turf and fails to make his crease in time. Glamorgan are 16 for one.
Stuart Meaker accounts for Chris Nash cheaply at the Kia Oval.
We are underway at the Ageas Bowl - Carberry & Adams are opening up for Hampshire. #RLODC
