Northants Steelbacks attracted record attendances at Wantage Road during this year’s NatWest T20 Blast.
With the amount of North Group home matches increasing from five to seven, nearly 25,000 supporters saw the defending champions in action.
That was a dramatic rise of 102 per cent from the 11,912 people that came through the gates last term.
Chief executive David Smith said: “The NatWest T20 Blast has been extremely well supported here at the County Ground this season”.
“Friday night T20 cricket has proved to be very popular but we’ve also had some encouraging crowds for our two fixtures on a Wednesday and Thursday evening against the Birmingham Bears and Notts Outlaws.
“I would like to thank all supporters who have been to the County Ground this year and the club look forward to welcoming you back in 2015.”
