England will play their first-ever Test match at the National Cricket Ground in Grenada as part of the three-Test tour to the Caribbean in April-May 2015.
In the schedule announced today by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), Grenada will host the second Test of the series between 21-25 April next year. It will be only the third time Grenada has staged a Test match – the last against Bangladesh in 2009.
The Test series will begin in Antigua at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium starting on 13 April with the final Test at the Kensington Oval between 1-5 May, 2015.
Paul Downton, Managing Director England Cricket, said: “We thank the West Indies Cricket Board for their assistance with the organisation of the tour and we know the venues will prove extremely popular with the thousands of cricket lovers who follow England to the Caribbean. It will also be exciting for many to visit the new venue of Grenada for the first time.”
