7.54pm - The wheels are coming off for Lancashire. Liam Dawson bowls Clark before repeating the trick to remove Horton, who had just gone to his fifty. Hampshire need four more wickets to wrap up their first cup victory.
7.44pm - Skipper Paul Horton and all-rounder Jordan Clark have steadied the ship somewhat, the latter becoming the first Red Rose batsman to clear the ropes. However, given the huge total they are attempting to chase down, one or both needs to find the accelerator pedal...pronto.
After 15 overs #Hampshire have taken key wickets to leave @LancsCCC 90/4 with two wickets a piece for @CWoody27 and Tomlinson #LANvHAM
— Hampshire Cricket (@hantscricket) July 27, 2014
7.13pm - Lancashire fans look away now... Steven Croft hammers Tomlinson into the off-side but can only watch as Maxwell takes a brilliant catch at backward point, leaving the Lightning 71 for four and staring down the barrel of a heavy defeat.
7.00pm - The mountain has just got even steeper. Brown took Lancashire close to hauling down Yorkshire's total yesterday but he will have to watch the rest of today's run chase from the balcony after finding the hands of Glenn Maxwell off the bowling of James Tomlinson.
6.58pm - The Lightning are going at a respectable rate in pursuit of 361 but have importantly lost the wickets of Khawaja and Ashwell Prince. They are 59 for two and it will take a monumental effort to prevent a second defeat in as many days.
Wicket! @ashyp_5 gets top edge and is caught close to the wicket by Dawson off Wood for 14. @LancsCCC 40-2 (6.5ov) #LANvHAN
— Lancashire CCC (@LancsCCC) July 27, 2014
6.34pm - RESULT! Derbyshire (251/3) beat Leicestershire (248/8) by seven wickets at Grace Road. Captain Madsen is the hero again, this time making 105 not out off 99 balls to take his side to victory.
6.25pm - RESULT! Glamorgan (308/7) beat Surrey (307/8) by three wickets at Guildford. The visitors steady themselves after a flurry of wickets to make it back-to-back victories this weekend thanks to a 40-run stand in four overs between Graham Wagg and Andrew Salter.
Lancashire suffer an early blow as Usman Khawaja's middle stump is uprooted by Chris Wood.
6.20pm - Lancashire have begun their daunting run chase. Can Karl Brown repeat his heroics against Yorkshire Vikings and get his side over the line on this occasion?
Salter strikes successive fours. 289/7 from 46.3 overs. 19 needed.
— Glamorgan Cricket (@GlamCricket) July 27, 2014
6.15pm - Derbyshire are closing in on their second win in as many days to complete a perfect first weekend in the competition. They require 27 off 10 overs, with yesterday's centurion Wayne Madsen closing in on another ton.
6.11pm - Surrey have hauled themselves right back into their match against Glamorgan and are arguably favourites to win now after Stuart Meaker has Mark Wallace caught behind for 20. The hosts require 37 from 28 with three wickets in hand.
6.03pm - RESULT! Notts Outlaws (312/8) beat Sussex Sharks (283/8) by 29 runs at Horsham. Alex Hales' 116 was too good for the Sharks who fell comfortably short despite some late hitting from Steffan Piolet.
RESULT! Birmingham Bears (240/7) beat Middlesex (236/9) by four runs at Lord's. A dramatic finish goes down to the final ball, but Steve Finn cannot hit the winning runs as the home side falls just short. Chris Rodgers looked to have the game under control but his dismissal for 96 sparked a collapsed that saw Birmingham scrape a win.
5.50pm - Chris Cooke and Ben Wright have fallen in the space of three balls at Guildford, where it looks like it will be a tight finish.
Lewis gets his maiden 100 off just 70 deliveries. And then the winning runs. We win by 5 wickets. What a partnership. Incredible!!!
— Somerset Cricket (@SomersetCCC) July 27, 2014
RESULT! Somerset (315/5) beat Durham Jets (311/7) by five wickets at Taunton. An inredible partnership of 209 by James Hildreth and Lewis Gregory seals a comfortable win in the end for Somerset. Paul Collingwood had hit 113 for the Jets but was overshadowed by unbeaten centuries from the home pair.
5.40pm - It looked as though they would secure a comfortable victory but the late wickets have left Middlesex needing 19 from the final two overs.
WICKET Machan c Patel b Mullaney 43. Great contribution from @mull05 - 40 runs off 20 balls and 4-24 from his 8 overs so far #susvnot
— Nottinghamshire CCC (@TrentBridge) July 27, 2014
5.28pm - Matt Macham falls for 43 and with the required rate climbing above 12 an over it's starting to look like a very tough ask for the Sharks.
Dexter and Bragg have both been dismissed, the latter for a career-best of 88.
Hampshire finish an incredible innings on 360 for nine thanks largely to Glenn Maxwell. The Aussie hit 146 from just 96 balls before a late flurry of wickets pulled the scoring rate back somewhat.
5.19pm - Billy Godleman is bowled by Jigar Naik for 43 at Grace Road as the Foxes bowlers fight back well.
Hildreth and Gregory are still going strong, they need 60 from 56...

Ryan Higgins has fallen to Jeetan Patel but Middlesex are well placed to claim a win.
4.53pm - Northants are almost there but have lost Steven Crook and Ben Duckett cheaply, just eight runs needed.
Half-century for Jesse Ryder with a 6 over long-off when facing Whiteley. It took 38 balls , 4x6,4x4 202-2 Ryder 52, Pettini 82. #WorvEss

4.07pm - Craig Cachopa pushes forward and nicks one through to Chris Read for 22. Sussex need 214 in 30 overs.

3.55pm - Maxwell is in full flight now and he has passed 100 from just 75 balls. He can be tough to stop in this form and Hampshire have raced to 182 for two in the 28th over.
Ravi Bopara passes 50 for Essex but is bowled shortly after by Joe Leach with the score on 115.
Hundred partnership off 89 balls as Maxwell hits out to great effect. He's 84 now off 65 balls, Smith has 29. @hantscricket 160-2 off 25ov
— Lancashire CCC (@LancsCCC) July 27, 2014

— Hampshire Cricket (@hantscricket) July 27, 2014
3.25pm - Just as he was threatening to take the game, Levi is caught trying to hit out. His 43 has left the Steelbacks in a very good position with 154 needed.
3.10pm - Northants are motoring along after the loss of Coetzer. Levi and Rossington have pushed the score beyond 50 after the first powerplay.
Nick Gubbins is the second Middlesex wicket to fall as Rikki Clarke gets his first of the day.

Leicestershire lose Niall O’Brien lbw to Mark Footitt for 28, making them 181 for five in the 40th over.
Essex and Hampshire each suffer an early blow, Tom Westley and James Vince respectively departing.
2pm - We've seen the runs flowing around the country today; here's a brief summary of what has happened as the early starts enter the break.
Durham Jets finished on an imposing 311 for seven, largely thanks to Paul Collingwood's 113. The captain walked to the crease with his side 36 for three but with Keaton Jennings helped posted a mammoth target at Taunton.
A good comeback from Northants Steelbacks restricted Gloucestershire to 240 for nine, with David Willey's excellent spell of 4-33 hauling the hosts back in after Michael Klinger hit 98 early on.
Johnathan Trott was in the runs once again for Birmingham Bears; he hit 78 as they posted 240 for seven at Lord's.
Notts Outlaws hit 312 for eight against Sussex Sharks, with Alex Hales continuing his excellent 2014 season with 116 at more than a run-a-ball after the hosts won the toss and elected to field first.
Despite losing wickets with the first two balls of the match, Worcestershire Rapids reached 238 for seven thanks to an eighth-wicket partnership of 98 between Joe Leach and Shaaiq Choudry. Graham Napier took 4-59 for the visitors who had earlier won the toss and inserted the Rapids.

With Surrey all set to push the scoring along Azhar has fallen lbw to Dean Cosker, breaking a partnership of 118.
Steven Mullaney has just given the Notts innings a bit of impetus before getting out. His quickfire 40 has moved the score on to 289 for seven.
Laurie Evans and Jeetan Patel have had some fun at the end of the Birmingham innings but Evans has gone for 46 with two balls to go.

Ateeq Javid has been bowled by Toby Roland-Jones with three overs to go at Lord's. The visitors are 210 for six; will they be able to post a challenging total?

— Essex Cricket (@EssexCricket) July 27, 2014
1.28pm - James Franklin departs cheaply at Horsham and Notts are in danger of falling a bit short, largely thanks to the bowling of Beer who finishes with 3-60; expensive yes, but three crucial wickets along the way.
Scott Styris has been trapped lbw by Tony Palladino but Leicestershire are quite well placed on 135 for three after 28 overs.
John Hastings' little cameo of 16 comes to a quick conclusion as the Jets head into the last five overs.
Azhar Mahmood and Rory Burns have put on over 100 together to recover the Surrey innings. Azhar has been the main aggressor and has gone to his fifty at almost a run-a-ball.
WICKET..Hales gone for a fantastic 116, he's caught by Hatchett off Piolet and Notts are 234/5 now #sharklove
— Sussex CCC (@SussexCCC) July 27, 2014
1.10pm - Two big wickets have fallen at Lord's with Trott finally going for 78 and the dangerous Rikki Clarke following cheaply.
Wickets are tumbling everywhere as Adam Rouse and Tom Smith become the latest batsmen to fall to Willey, who finishes with 4-33.
A sensational innings from Collingwood has come to an end. The former England man is superbly caught by another veteran, Marcus Trescothick, and he departs for 113 with his side 237 for six in the 42nd over. Remarkable considering he came to the crease with the score on 36 for three.
1.04pm - The in-form Riki Wessels comes and goes without scoring as a fantastic piece of fielding from Beer leaves the Outlaws man short of his ground.
There is also a run out at Grace Road with Scott Elstone's direct-hit accounting for Greg Smith.
Will Gidman's promising innings is cut short by David Willey who grabs his second wicket and the big wicket of Klinger comes shortly after, the skipper going for 98 to leave his side on 196 for six in the 43rd over.
Jennings falls to Dockrell for an important 45 before Collingwood completes an excellent century from just 83 balls.

— Sussex CCC (@SussexCCC) July 27, 2014
12.57pm - Collingwood and Keaton Jennings are enjoying themselves at Taunton, and moving along at a fair old rate. The 200 is up with 10 overs to go, and with both batsmen well set they will be looking for a total of around 300.
12.45pm - James Taylor can't repeat his heroics from Friday night. The Lions captain goes back to Beer and is bowled for 13.
Two quick wickets have fallen at New Road, with Ben Cox and Ross Whiteley falling in the same Napier over to leave the Rapids 145 for seven.
12.39pm - The batting powerplay is taken at Lord's and, as so often happens, a wicket falls straight away. Steve Finn has been brought back into the attack and with his very first ball finds a leading edge from Tim Ambrose's bat and Neil Dexter takes the catch.
Things have slowed down at Cheltenham, with the Northants spinners doing a good job to keep the batsmen quiet.
A big six and a fifty for @Colly622! 49 balls, 5x4s, 2x6s. We are 135-4 in the 30th after Mustard was earlier caught behind for 40.
— Durham Cricket Club (@DurhamCricket) July 27, 2014
12.21pm - Varun Chopra never quite got going for the Bears. He reached 46 before holing out to deep square-leg. Johnathan Trott is going nicely on 48 at the other end.
White gets another for Northants, taking a return catch to dismiss Ian Cockbain for three.
Captain Gary Wilson is the latest Surrey man to go as Cosker reduces the hosts to 108 for five.
Lumb's excellent innings comes to an end as he is outfoxed by Will Beer, coming down the track to him before seeing his stumps disturbed. The England opener made 77 and Notts are 139 for one.
WICKET Kohler-Cadmore is stumped down the leg side by Foster off Westley for 34. 106-5. #WorvEss
— Essex Cricket (@EssexCricket) July 27, 2014
12.04pm - Josh Cobb has been forced to retire hurt on 20 after being struck by Footitt.
Surrey have been going along at a good rate but the wickets are continuing to fall, Davies reaches an impressive half-century but edges behind just three balls later.
12pm - Gloucestershire have gone past 100 but lost Hamish Marshall shortly after, bowled by Graeme White. The score is 100 for three in the 24th over at Cheltenham.
The old saying is one brings two, and that's done for Surrey as Wagg runs out Vikram Solanki for just a single.
A good partnership is brought to an end as Phil Mustard is caught behind off Craig Overton. The opener shared 73 with skipper Paul Collingwood who is unbeaten on 43.
11.52am - Lumb has also gone past 50 in his first game back from injury. The Outlaws are setting quite an imposing platform here...
Jason Roy will be kicking himself when he gets back to the changing room. He has chipped the part-time spin of Jacques Rudolph into the hands of Murray Goodwin who is stationed out on the cover boundary and he has missed out on a big score after appearing well set.
Gloucs 85-2 in 22nd over against Northants. Dent run out by Azharullah's direct hit for 18. Klinger on 50
— Gloucestershire CCC (@Gloscricket) July 27, 2014

Captain Mitchell is the latest to fall at New Road; he's gone lbw to Phillips and the Rapids will need to do a bit of rebuilding.
Mark Footitt gets Angus Robson at Grace Road thanks to an excellent catch at slip from Wes Durston. A good start by the Foxes is pulled back.
Bears 46-1 from 16 overs Trott 19 Chopra 18 Middlesex bowling a good line so far this morning
— Warwickshire CCC (@CricketingBears) July 27, 2014
11.27am - A combination of some good captaincy and possibly even jinxing the batsman has done for Kervezee who plays back to Tim Phillips and is trapped in front for 37.
Tim Phillips replaces David Masters 6-1-28-0. Worcs 57 for 2 from 13 overs. Kervezee 35, Mitchell 22. #WorvEss
— Essex Cricket (@EssexCricket) July 27, 2014
11.20am - Despite the disastrous start, the Rapids are moving along quite quickly with Kervezee going at a run-a-ball and into the thirties. It's been a good fightback with his captain Daryl Mitchell who has been a little more circumspect.
End of the ten-over batting power play, Outlaws 50-0. Hales and Lumb solid and impressive #SussexvNotts
— Nottinghamshire CCC (@TrentBridge) July 27, 2014
11.06am - Tillakaratne Dilshan is the latest man to fall as he is bowled by Graham Wagg in the third over.
Durham are in a bit of bother as Scott Borthwick and Phil Mustard have a mix-up, Gregory and Alex Barrow combine to send Borthwick back to the pavilion. 37 for three is not the powerplay the Jets would have had in mind.
At Grace Road, Leicestershire have won the toss and will have a bat. That game is due to start at half-past, remember, due to an earlier accident on the M1.
10.54am - Middlesex have started the better of the two teams at Lord's, keeping the Birmingham batsmen quiet before Will Porterfield hits Tim Murtagh to Chris Rodgers at midwicket who takes the catch.
David Willey bowls Alex Gidman with the score on 25 as they near the end of the first powerplay.
There are plenty of early wickets falling as play gets underway between Surrey and Glamorgan. Not for Notts though, with England duo Michael Lumb and Hales getting off to a good start.
Wicket Number 2! Great diving take from Colin as Macleod goes for 10 and gets Tim G his first wicket. 25/2
— Somerset Cricket (@SomersetCCC) July 27, 2014
10.43am - Lewis Gregory's excellent summer continues with an early breakthrough at Taunton. Mark Stoneman is caught at backward point by George Dockrell.
10.40am - Surrey have been invited to bat by Glamorgan, which means we'll get to have an early look at Jason Roy, who was of course selected for the England Lions squad last week.
10.32am - It's an incredible start for Essex! Graham Napier has made the best possible start, removing Richard Oliver and Tom Fell with the first two balls of the match.
Alexei Kervezee survives the hat-trick ball and takes six of the first over. What a start at New Road.
10.30am - So the Leicestershire v Derbyshire is delayed, which means there are five games starting now and three games to start later.
The match will now start at 11.30am

10.15am - Television is showing pictures of Jos Buttler receiving his Test cap at the Ageas Bowl - good luck to him - and his former county, Somerset have lost the toss at Taunton and Durham will bat first.
Birmingham have called correctly at Lord's and will be setting a total for Eoin Morgan and his men.
10.05am - There will be a delayed start at Grace Road, due to an accident on the M1 holding up the Derbyshire players.
Elsewhere, Sussex have put Notts in at Horsham. Will Alex Hales' sparkling form continue? Sussex have suffered a bit of a blow with Luke Wright missing out through a side injury sustained during his incredible 153 not out the other night.
Northants have also chosen to bowl first on what looks like a flat deck at Cheltenham.
