4.52pm - Ben Stokes is at it again, although no thanks to Phil Mustard. Luke Wells provides the edge, which Mustard spills before Scott Borthwick sweeps in to scoop up.
It seems to have brightened up and the covers are coming off. If the rain stays away we are set to resume at 5.15pm with 14 overs lost today

4.39pm - While his brother Sam watches on as England attempt to hold out for a draw against Sri Lanka at Headingley, Angus Robson is leading the charge for Leicestershire in their rally at the Kia Oval. The younger Robson ticks past his half-century in a score of 82 for one. The Foxes still trail by 169 runs though.
4.36pm - RESULT! Yorkshire (422) have defeated Warwickshire (228 & 186) by an innings and eight runs - Teenager Karl Carver finishes his championship debut by claiming the final wicket. Last man Boyd Rankin is lbw and, for now at least, Yorkshire are top of the table.
4.30pm - Derbyshire are bowled out for 256 as Riley finishes them off by having Mark Footitt stumped. Kent need 39 to wrap this one up.
Leicestershire have lost the first wicket of their second innings. Matthew Boyce lbw to Zafar Ansari to end a 67-run opening stand.

4.24pm - Warwickshire are not far away from defeat either. Jack Brooks has been in excellent form this season and he has five wickets in the match now as Keith Barker top-edges to Jonny Bairstow. Warwickshire's last pair are in the middle of Edgbaston with their side 22 runs behind.
4.17pm - Derbyshire appear set to lose tonight. Adam Riley has Tony Palladino lbw and with a wicket in hand Derbyshire lead by 24 runs.
4.08pm - Glamorgan have an early wicket too. Will Tavare is caught behind off Ruaidhri Smith from the eighth ball after the break. The opener dug his heels in for 167 balls - unusual for a Tavare - as he made 41. Glamorgan need five wickets with 32 overs left.
4.06pm - Darren Stevens strikes almost immediately after tea to deny Alex Hughes a century. The Derbyshire man falls for 82 after being trapped in front and his 129-run eighth-wicket stand with David Wainwright ends. For all their resistance, Derbyshire are just 13 ahead.

3.50pm - Century for Peter Trego. The Somerset all-rounder moves to three figures from just 104 balls, frustrating Nottinghamshire in their quest for victory at Trent Bridge. Last man Jamie Overton is alongside him on seven not out with Somerset leading by 51.
3.47pm - The tea interval is starting to arrive at most grounds around the country. How many victories will be wrapped up in the evening session on day three?

Wainwright advances to a 101-ball half-century at the Spitfire Ground, helping Derbyshire chalk up a nine-run advantage, while Michael Richardson departs for 37 at Emirates Durham ICG on the stroke of tea.
Surely there cannot be a late twist in the tale at Bristol? Tavare and Cockbain's 44-run partnership in 32 overs ends when the latter departs to Jacques Rudolph, leaving Gloucestershire trailing by 131 on 93 for four.

Tredwell has another at the Emirates Durham ICG, removing skipper Paul Collingwood to leave Durham 301 for five, a lead of 433. Is a declaration imminent?
Alex Hughes' 61 not out is a personal best, ensuring Derbyshire keep fighting at the Spitfire Ground. His stand with David Wainwright is worth 92 and Derbyshire are 24 behind on 194 for seven.

One brings two at the Kia Oval. Niall O'Brien follows Raine back to the pavilion after falling to the spin of Gareth Batty for 33. Surrey need one more wicket to dismiss Leicestershire.

1.18pm - Here is a look around the grounds at lunch:
Northamptonshire are 43 without loss after being asked to bat again by Lancashire at Emirates Old Trafford. The visitors have a long way to go, though, with a deficit of 427 runs.
Keaton Jennings and Scott Borthwick added 186 together as Durham moved to 221 for one , and a lead of 353 runs, against Sussex at the Emirates Durham ICG.
Somerset are 105 runs away from making Nottinghamshire bat again as they reached lunch on 188 for five at Trent Bridge.
Yorkshire made a good start to the day as they reduced Warwickshire to 68 for three and trailing by 126 runs at Edgbaston.
Division Two
Glamorgan are pushing for victory on the final day against Gloucestershire after the hosts went to lunch at 49 for three and 175 runs behind.
Darren Stevens collected a five-wicket haul to leave Kent on the brink of victory. Derbyshire are 118 for seven and 100 runs away from making the hosts bat again.
Surrey’s progress was checked by an unbroken 51-run stand between Niall O’Brien and Ben Raine as Leicestershire reached the interval on 222 for seven .
1pm - We will have a full wrap of the lunch scores in just a few moments.
12.58pm - Glamorgan snare a third wicket just before lunch and it is first-innings centurion Hamish Marshall who is well caught by Rudolph off Allenby.
12.53pm - The rain hits the Emirates Durham ICG and the players are off for a slightly early lunch with the hosts 221 for one. That is a lead of 353.

11.55am - Derbyshire are five down and speeding towards defeat as Darren Stevens removes Marcus North lbw for 16.
The news is not much better for Leicestershire with Josh Cobb caught by Jason Roy off Gareth Batty before Rob Taylor is run out by Dunn.

11.25am - Lancashire strike in the first half-hour with Steven Crook the man to fall. Tom Smith gets him lbw and Northants are two wickets away from being bowled out and, in all likelihood, being asked to bat again.
Yorkshire also have an early scalp with Ryan Sidebottom trapping Varun Chopra in front. Perhaps the White Rose might also push for a win today?

He knocks off the 10 he needed this morning and skipper Jim Allenby calls his men in with a lead of 224 runs. They use up five overs this morning so, by my calculations, there are 89 left in the day.
11.07am - Keaton Jennings picks up his fourth championship half-century of the season with a sweetly-struck cover drive for four at the Emirates Durham ICG.

10.30am - Welcome to today's live blog of the seven LV= County Championship matches. There could be as many as four results today despite only Gloucestershire and Glamorgan's clash at Bristol heading into the final day.
Who said it was only early-season pitches that provoked quick results?
Division One
Nottinghamshire are closing in on an innings-victory against Somerset at Trent Bridge after reducing the visitors to 106 for three in their second knock.
Northamptonshire face the prospect of being asked to follow-on as they resume on 113 for seven after Ashwell Prince's unbeaten 257 allowed Lancashire to declare at 650 for six.
Durham are 105 for one second time around with a lead of 237 after bowling Sussex out for 205 at the Emirates Durham ICG.
Yorkshire were bowled out for 422 just before close, giving the leaders a 194-run lead over Warwickshire , who will begin their second innings this morning at Edgbaston.
Division Two
Derbyshire lost 13 wickets yesterday as Kent took full control of their match at the Spitfire Ground, leaving the visitors 32 for three following on.
Leicestershire are 125 for three and bidding to bat their way towards safety after Surrey declared at 522 for nine on the back of skipper Gary Wilson's unbeaten 160.
Glamorgan are expected to declare this morning on 569 for seven - which gives them a lead of 178 runs against Gloucestershire heading into the final day at Bristol.
